I have been w Dr Belfield for 3 yrs and she was fine when she first started. Now that she got busier, it’s more difficult to get her to spend even 5 min with you for a follow up. I was in the ER and needed a follow up appt to adjust my blood pressure medication and I was given a run around for 2 weeks! Messages I left w her nurse was never delivered until my blood pressure went up so high again. The poor inter office communication between Dr and staff needs to be addressed. The simple conclusion is that my medical needs are not being met, I lost my trust and confidence in the doctor and her office so I am leaving this practice.

Stay away she is incompetent
This doctor is incompetent she doesn't even see most of her patients anymore. She has you see her cousin who works with her. She doesn't do her job. If she does see you she doesn't spend time with you anymore and will push out of the office so more patients can be seen. She's doesn't care about your well-being just making money.

Name is there but she never is.
Every time I call, I have to wait 1 to 2 hrs. to get through. Then when I do it's another 3 to 4 weeks away. By the time i do see her my symptoms have left. Then my prescriptionn is always being taken from me. Other scrips stay in my chart, yet one of my main ones(flexall) is always taken out.

Doesn’t explain properly
My brother with developmental disabilities sees her as his PCP. He came home confused about what medications he is supposed to take or discontinue. They don’t TEACH, or request the patient to TEACH BACK to demonstrate they understand their medical regimen. I had to drive him back to the doctors office so they could properly explain—in a way that HE can comprehend. They can write stuff down but that doesn’t mean he will UNDERSTAND. They need to understand not all patients have the same level of education, or learning abilities. So when I come into the office, tell your nasty secretary, Josh to stop giving an attitude and whoever else is behind the desk thinking the glass window is soundproof. If he didn’t understand your half empty explanations, then it is not his fault. Explain information in a way that is RIGHT for ANY patient of ANY learning level.

An outstanding Doctor of Internal Medicine. Her team is all about the patients. An amazing Nurse, and Front End Manager. I have been Dr. Belfield's patient for about three years now. My daughter and son in law just had their first visits, and cannot stop talking about how happy they are to be her latest patients. Your search stops her for compassionate and knowledgeable care.......

Dr. Belfield is a rare find in today's assembly line world of medicine. She is a warm, caring, compassionate Doctor that takes the time to get to know you as a person, and treats you like a human being, not just numbers on a chart. She works with you to find what ails you and finds the best treatment that fits you as a patient and a person. Seeing Dr. Belfield and her staff for a problem is like seeing friends that truly look out for your best interests. I'm thrilled to have her as my PCP.

Dr Belfield has caresd for my family. She listens, She cares and always makes sure we receive the right treatment. It is not easy to take care of my 88 year old mother in law and without her and her staff it would be impossible. We have called on vacation and received return calls with questions regarding my mother in laws medication & symptoms and her officer staff Christine and Jody are awesome and professional. For me I would be lost without her after my car accident and her referrals.

Dr. Belfield is the best doctor I have ever had. It's been hard for me to find a doctor who is as helpful and caring as she is, while having an extremely positive attitude and overall happiness that is quite contagious. Both my mom and I see her. She is just the best! - Renee Mc
