Dr. Umer Ansari, MD

I went to Dr. Ansari for an initial consultation. As soon as he entered the room, he told me had a cold so we could reschedule. Luckily he was masked but in the past I have been told via phone that my doctor is sick never in person as I was about to start the appointment. He spent about 10-15 minutes with me max. I felt like it was pretty rushed. When I went it to the waiting room he was sitting in the office behind the desk unmasked and wearing a towel around his neck. He was speaking quite loudly to another doctor about how he had chills and took a rapid test but it was negative. So he basically lied to me about having a cold. He then called out to me to ask what my pharmacy was. He didn't even try to come up and talk to me, he literally yelled at me from across the room. I told him the pharmacy I used and the street name. He wound up sending it to the wrong pharmacy. Most unprofessional, irresponsible visit I've ever been to. Would not visit again.

After the retirement of my longtime dermatologist, I sought out a new doctor in my area. After a considerable search, I decided to see Dr. Umer Ansari. I completed my first visit with him today. Dr. Ansari is a young, thorough, and professional doctor. He took time to explain the issues that I presented, and treatment was completed in short order. I was very impressed by his knowledge and approach to treatment. I would recommend him highly to anyone searching for a dermatologist in the northern Baltimore or Towson area. On a final note, I was equally impressed with his support staff, who were very pleasant and accommodating.

Elizabeth assisted Dr Ansari, and she is one who I’ve come to know as quite literally the sweetest, gentlest, and deepl compassionate sou; Within their professional dialogue was zero trace of ego or impatience.Doc guided her verbally through suturing and the experience was no less than serendipity.
