Had a check in for medical management and it was horrific. She kept telling my trans son that he had a gender identity issue. I corrected her multiple times saying this is not seen as an issue to us and she began aggressively questioning me in front of him blaming him being transgender on his trauma disorders. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The appointment had nothing to do with his gender identity. It was simply a medicine check in. It was like she was treating him like a experiment trying to solve a theory she had. She caused even more trauma. She also gave me the option to choose his dosage. The appointment was supposed to be to check in on medicine and see if there are any side effects and then adjust dose.
