Dr. Ulin Sargeant, MD

Dr. Sargeant has built a practice that is based in telemedicine, and people need to understand this when they choose her and her team. She sees people in person when she needs to for their urgent needs, and once a year in any case for well-patient visits. Otherwise, she does much of her consultation on the phone or by web messaging. She only examines you in person when that is needed, so time is saved on both sides. It is very effective, very time efficient, and not at all impersonal in my opinion. Other people may feel differently. When she sees me in person she asks a lot of questions, and more important, she listens carefully and fully to what I have to say. She is responsive to my concerns, suggestions, and objections, if I have any. That is not true of many doctors, who never listen to you at all. By phone or web messaging, she always responds quickly when I have an issue or need a refill. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Sargeant was my primary care doctor for over a year. She never once followed up with me after referring me to specialists. After months of titrating my medication to the proper dose, she increased the dose with no explanation I tried speaking to Stephanie, about this but she hung up on me. Neither Dr. Sargeant or her employees would call me by my name. When I showed up and had lost over 80 pounds she did not notice. I left three different messages on her exchange, and not one call was ever answered or returned. She has a patient portal that does not work, as mesages there go nowhere and are never read. I really wanted to like this doctor and have her treat me, but there were just too many negative experiences.

I really wanted to like this doctor. Only "saw" her once, telephone visit. She was okay, but all her reviews made it seem like she was actually, caring, for lack of a better word. I felt my appointment rushed and very impersonal. Don't bother providing your insurance information- they don't run it and send you the full bill. Don't try to leave messages for the billing department. Ms. Pacheco does not call back, tho front office staff says she is on top of stuff, she can't even change her voicemail greeting. several messages later, i finally got a hold f her and she did not answer my questions at all and came off stand-offish. Wouldn't recommend this doctor if she can't get her staff in order. My pharmacy also has issues with the staff.

Dr. Sargaent performed my USCIS medical exam. I was very satisfied with the experience because of the ease of scheduling, professional attitude, and lack of wait times.
