Knowledgeable and personable
Dr. Gallo was my ER doctor at Western Reserve Hospital. I came in for the second time after a week of excruciating pain on my left side caused by my cervical discs and a nerve. The first doctor (a week prior) did basically nothing but gave me a muscle relaxer and did a CT scan. Dr. Gallo actually took the time to read my CT, attempted to treat the pain and explained everything in detail about what the issue was. He treated me with urgency, respect and compassion. The other reviews on here do not seem to reflect my experience, and I would trust Dr. Gallo if he were my primary care physician. Western Reserve, on the other hand, is quite hit or miss with their ER doctors it seems.

Terrible bedside manners
Nurses and admission at wooster hospital were friendly and helpful. Dr Gallo in the ER was another story. He was aggressive, condescending, and abrupt. Terrible experience with him

Billed serperately after hospital visit
Spent 3 minutes in the a room with this clown after a 30 minute wait at the emergency room. Did absolutely nothing, then billed me for $500 which was not covered by insurance, even though the hospital visit was covered entirely by my insurance. Stay away from this piece of trash.

Horrible bed side manor!! I came in because of sudden heaviness in my legs, arms and unable to speak. Numbness in my face and head. Along with other “stroke like” symptoms. He came in and focused on my crying and asked, “why are you crying?” I wasnt even crying. It was a single tear. He came in after doing blood work and said I was stressed out and hyperventilated and if it happens again breath in a brown paper bag and see my doctor. Just heartless and rude!!
