He is an expert in the field he has choosen. When the nurses found out I had lasiks surgery, all of them said Dr. Oostra was my guy, and that the math is tricky for patients like me. They were right - he has been great, and I am looking forward to getting my other eye taken care of to match my right eye, which one day after surgery, is 20/25 vision. He's amazing!

This hack looked at my eye at 3 months from a corneal abrasion. There was no record of dystrophy 2 months prior but it was found just a month after Oostra by a simple optometrist. Bottom line, Oostra should have found it and might have been able to prevent it from worsening, which it did and I am now dealing with the subsequent vision loss.
