Dr. Lam took quite some time to explain the procedure and answer many questions. To him the procedure is routine and he was able to communicate that confidence.

Dr Lam was outstanding. He explains everything very well and is easy and fun to talk to. He went out of his way to do a superior surgery on me that should last much longer than other options. He visited me daily in the hospital throughout my 11 day hospital stay. He utilized the cardiologist at his disposal to come up with the best plan to treat my post-op AFib issue. He is open to the ideas of others and to making changes when better options are available. He provides real leadership of the overall team.

Dr. Lam recently operated on my dad. My dad was born with Arterio Venous Malformation of his Heart. He did not know he was born with it until he had an angiogram last year after a heart attack.He was told that he is one in a million to have this heart disease. Dr. Lam did an excellent work on my father. Other heart surgeon were afraid to operate on him for it's very complex surgery. He also replaced my dad's Mitral Valve for it was completely torn. He did an Open Heart Surgery Triple Bypass and repair of his Mitral Valve. Dr. Lam is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and keep you at peace about the surgery. He is awesome along with the rest of the doctors, NP Tim and Michelle, Nurse Sue, Tony and all the staff. Orange Coast Memorial Hospital staff are incredibly amazing and helpful. They are all good because God is also good. I am very grateful and thankful for all they have done. My family including my dad Edgar, are forever thankful for their amazing work. Thank you.

Dr Lam is awesome! He is super skilled and great with people. Mom just had a 5 bypass open heart surgery and she was nervous. Dr. Lam put her at ease, was very comforting and Mom is recovering quickly and smoothly.

Dr. Lam treated me like I was the most important thing on his calendar. He was caring, considerate and complete in his interactions with me and my wife. He was also honest (but not at all rude or abrupt) about what I was dealing with and the potential of outcomes. I could not imagine any better care before, during and after the procedure.
