I love Dr. Millican! I’ve been a patient of his for over 11 years & I’ve been hospitalized & had to have major surgery several times. He is the sweetest kindest Doctor ive ever known. Now that’s saying a lot because I worked as a Nurse from the ‘70’s until 2005. Also I was a cancer patient (not in this state)& had many Drs treating me for years. He loves his wife & kids & it shows. Now let’s talk about his Nurse, she’s extremely busy but has always gotten back to me the same day or early am the next day. She fills out all the ridiculous paperwork fast & gets it sent to whatever Government or state place requires it. Now this is vital to good care. I don’t know how many messages she has in a day but I’m sure it’s astronomicall & she does it without being nasty or short tempered with people who are asking her the same questions every time. So do yourself a favor & get an appointment with Dr. Millican M.D. he Rocks!!

He is not an "in and out" Dr. He takes his time with you and listens to what all is going on. So very kind. He's been our Dr of choice for several years now.

Great physician
Dr. Millican is very attentive. There is little wait time in his office. He and his nurse respond quickly to phone calls and pharmacy refill requests. I feel comfortable asking him questions without feeling rushed and can tell that he is a physician who truly cares.

NO SHOW TO APPOINTMENT
Scheduled first time appointment for my wife and I as our Primary Care Physician passed away. Took over a month to schedule. Requested paperwork prior to the appointment, but they never requested it until the day of. I asked them to meet with Dr. Millican prior to them taking all our medical records. I know that the medical history would have been helpful if reviewed prior to the appointment, but 5 minutes before the appt. time, it made no sense at all. I asked again to meet the Dr. and was told he did not wish to. What a sanctimonious and deceitful individual. Why would anyone not want to personally meet with and make an informed decision to take on a new doctor? Why would the doctor be so unwilling to meet a new patient? Had the medical history been requested prior to the appointment and actually reviewed before seeing the patient would be acceptable, but to ask for it all 5 minutes before hand- what a joke! Probably just saved ourselves from another triple booking quack!

Dr. Millican is the best physician I've ever had. He listens to you & if you need a referral he makes one right away. He is very informative & personable. Rare to find a doctor like him in a small town. He & his nurse are very good about getting results to tests or calling in refills quickly. He is one of the few doctors who is truly concerned & understanding. I recommend him to anyone needing a family practitioner.
