Dr. Travis Langan, DPM

Dr. Langan did surgery on me to repair a broken ankle. He installed hardware that was too big for my ankle, and it took months of me complaining of pain around the hardware (which he dismissed) before he admitted, 'Now that the swelling has gone down, I can see that you have a small ankle, and I can see the hardware through the skin.' The repair he did on the ligament in that ankle was also inadequate and had to be re-done by another surgeon. He also mis-reported in my patient files, which I only realized later, and reported tests and observations that he never actually made - saying he observed me standing and walking when he never even asked me to get off my seat. I would never recommend Langan as a surgeon or medical care provider.

THEE BEST! Dr. Langan is one of the nicest, most respectful and competent doctors I know. He has seen both my husband and I for ankle injuries this past year. He truly listens to your concerns / injuries. He is thorough and attentive to your goals. He does not push surgery as best option, if it's not. He works WITH you to determine best course of action for you (the patient). And, if you bring up a concern/issue that is better dealt with by a different physician/specialist, he will make sure you see that specialist. With Dr. Langan, you get BOTH an intelligent physician and an all around nice guy. I am fortunate that I have not had to have surgery on my ankles recently, but if I do, I would 100% want Dr. Langan to perform it.
