Not good
Dr Higdon was supposed to perform a peripheral nerve block. The nerve block Dr Higdon placed did not work at all and I had only a small patch of numb skin that was nowhere near the operative site. I was in a lot of pain. I also requested that he be considerate of my sensitivity to medication and avoid agents that would leave me confused or nauseated. I was hallucinating before the procedure even started (from medications that Dr Higdon gave me) and vomited after so it was a fail on all counts there. That being said I didn't wake up during the procedure and did not die, so it could have been worse.
