Dr. V is an amazing plastic surgeon. She is very detailed, thorough, compassionate, and identifies exactly what is needed. Unlike a lot of other surgeons, she does not oversell and look at the patient as a walking talking ATM. I am very grateful that I found her to guide me on my self-improvement journey and would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is looking to get a morale and self esteem boost . The facility is squeaky clean and her staff if also very kind, sensitive and thorough.

Every year I do something cosmetically for myself for my birthday since turning 40. A month before my 41st birthday I went to see Dr. V because of my sagging chin. They convinced me to have a lower facelift at 41 years old. They also said that I would benefit from sculptura for the fat loss on my temples. I was most concerned about my chin, whenever I look in the mirror that is all I see. They told me the way to lift my chin was a lower facelift. I believed them. They only worked on the face so they had to be good, right? After all, this is their area of expertise. When I went in for my post surgical appointment my chin still look the same to which they replied that The lower facelift works only on the face and doesn’t target the chin at all. My ONLY reason for going in was my double chin. ONLY reason. To add insult to injury they lied to me about the scars that I would have. They said that I would have a line in front of my ear and directly behind my ear but they did not tell me tha

Before ultimately choosing Dr. V, I joined my mom for consultations with two other plastic surgeons in the DC-metro area. As soon as we met with Dr. V and her staff, my mom easily made her decision to trust Dr. V with her upper and lower blepharoplasty. Dr. V is extremely knowledgeable and took the time to thoughtfully answer all the questions my mom and I had. She was honest, yet kind, and never made my mom feel rushed. Five months since my mom has has had her eyelids done, my mom looks amazing! Every step of the way, Dr. V has checked-in to make sure my mom was healing normally and continues to follow-up even now. Dr. V is skilled and very much a perfectionist when it comes to the results. I can’t express how thankful we are to have found Dr. V and her super supportive staff - Gina, Erin, Lucius, Eunice (hope I spelled everyone’s name right!). Seeing Dr. V is a long drive for me but totally worth it. We recommend Dr. V and plan to seek some procedures at Dr. V’s office for myself.

I had upper eyelid blepharoplasty done by Dr. V in March and I am so happy with the results! Dr. V was the only surgeon I consulted with who actually listened to what I wanted, and she took the time to understand and carefully examine my eyes before recommending a treatment approach. This procedure was worth every dollar and I plan on returning for other services.

Dr. Vo spends more than twice the time explaining the procedures, and afterward the care following the procedure than other surgeon I have met. Personally, I have had two other facial procedures elsewhere, before I met Dr. Vo. She is not only more amicable, her expertise is far more competent and more appropriate than the two others' technical approach. I say this as a graduate of Columbia University's College of Physicians & Surgeons. I refer to Dr. Vo without hesitation.

Really unsatisfied with the botox injections. I developed 5 new wrinkled skin right above my eyebrows. Due to my concerns, I went to see her 3 days after the injections, and her reply was: "it's a trade off". This is a nonsensical explanation as no one wants new wrinkles just to alleviate the already existing wrinkles. True? However, she is friendly.

Terrible doctor. Even worse is the office staff. Incompetent isn't sufficient to describe how poorly run Virginia Institute PLLC (Dr Vo-Ngyun's office) is. The business end, especially accounting/billing, is a total disaster.
