For 2 months, I pleaded with Dr. Eng for an MRI for horrific pain in my back. I finally went to Optum to get authorization. By the time it was scheduled, cancer had spread to a very large mass on my spine. Now I have significant nerve damage and need to learn to walk again. Really bad doctor.

She is so knowledgeable, kind, caring and respectful. I have been her patient for 2 years - and twice she has saved my life. When I moved from Arcadia to Orange County, I chose to continue seeing her because in my mind, she is irreplaceable. When my husband was alive she also was his doctor, and she was very upbeat and encouraging with him as well. Having a doctor visit with her is a most uplifting experience. She is pleasant, with a sweet demeanor, and she has a vast, up to date knowledge of best practices and medical care. I am so glad she is my doctor!

Today was the day that I needed care. I called her office 5 times and spoke with different individuals and waited every time for at least 15 minutes for an order to be faxed to me, so I could take a chest X-ray (at where I work) before seeing her. Guess what happened? Nothing! I am a muse and take care of so many patients on daily basis, answer calls and call back, respond to the emails and email back . I know it is doable and there is no excuse not to respond in a timely manner, to a patient who tells you need your help. I never ever call that number. Deleted. I need care not sweetness!

I absolutely adore Dr. Eng! She takes the time to listen to all my concerns and includes me in my treatment plan. She went over all of my labs, carefully explaining where I was and what the acceptable numbers are. She then asked me if I had any other questions or concerns for her. She has a fabulous bedside manner and I never feel like I’m being rushed through!!!

Is really hard to find a doctor who really cares about us, she is one of them

Dr Eng is very knowledgeable, caring and thorough. She never hesitates to refer to a specialist if needed. She very promptly replies to email through the patient portal. The practice has excellent nurse practitioners who can handle a wide variety of issues with shorter wait times to see one. Optum patient support center is also very helpful
