First off I do have to say that she does understand medicine, but she doesn't exactly have empathy or the ability to converse politely with topics subjected to myself or my children. She was the attending physician at the hospital for my seconds sons birth, (We also had her in a pinch a few times at the office) and she wasn't exactly the most timely and understanding. She doesn't always prescribe if its bacterial. It's like a worse Dr. Sundar.

I went to Dr. Thompson from kindergarten until senior year of high school, and can honestly say that I hope I never have a doctor like her again. I'm not sure if this was just my experience - but she would have subtle rude jabs at my body as a TEENAGER. At one point I was so depressed that I gained 60 pounds in one year and all she could do was lecture me that I needed to exercise more, didn't ask me about how I felt or anything, just wanted me in and out. I wish I could turn back time.

She is very patient with the children. Smart, common sense approach to caring for her patients. My children are comfortable with her. When my children need to see a doctor, they ask if they can see her. No tears involved. She is awesome!

I went to see Dr Thompson from kindergarten until 12th grade. I can remember times where she has made me feel extremely embarrassed, and was overall rude to me. Over a year I had gained 40 pounds, and when I went in for my next check up she basically made me feel horrible about it and made no effort to try to understand why it happened (it was due to depression, which I found out from another doctor). Overall medically she seems okay but she has always degraded me, and a doctor shouldn't do that
