Dr. McElveen's excellent care and compassion were much needed not once, but twice. In early 2023, she provided radiation treatment for my breast cancer with kindness, patience, and expertise. In November of 2024, she provided a low dose radiation treatment for the arthritis i was struggling with in both hands. The latter has provided quite a bit relief from the pain and stiffness I had been experiencing. I am grateful for the excellent personal care I received from Dr. McElveen AND her wonderful staff!

Dr. Mcelveen and or staff thoroughly explained their procedures and answered all my questions. Everyone is very friendly and prompt. Office is very clean and welcoming.

Dr. Tracy McElveen was the recommended oncology radiologist. I chose to receive my radiation treatment from Dr. McElveen due to her professional preparation and knowledge of current best practices. Although I drove an hour one way to receive my daily treatments, I felt confidence in Dr. M cElveen and also in her outstanding staff (receptionist, RNs, radiology techs). The facility was always very clean. Appointments were on-time. My questions were answered. Dr. McElveen kept in frequent communication with my surgeon and oncologist and that was a comfort that all three were focused on best methods for my treatment. Accesssing Dr. Tracy McElveen's treatment was a best choice for me, and I highly recommend her and her staff.

Dr. McElveen has been my radiology oncologist specialist for a few months. Among my plethora of cancer doctors, she's given the best explanation of my condition. She explains my treatment and her processes very well. I do recommend her if you are in need of such a specialist.

Dr McElveen and her staff are professional, compassionate, and skilled. The receptionist, Carolyn, is efficient and kind. The radiology technicians are thorough and exact at each treatment and always friendly and kind! The nursing staff are quick to answer any questions or concerns. Dr McElveen or a colleague were always available if we had a concern or problem. She is to be commended for hiring exceptional healthcare providers and staff in her practice.

I have never in all the years of having to go to doctors experienced the kind of cracker-jack-box shenanigans I experienced here. I have a lot to say about the practice itself, like the lights being turned off on me as the last patient I guess OR the nurse tech being completely unaware that I was having a panic attack, but I will focus on the doctor. She was flighty. That's the best way to describe it. She was late, A LOT. She didn't know who I was twice, walking into my appointments and talking about other people and their medications and conditions. She wasn't fully present, the blank stare was a give away. She told me the swelling I had was lymphatic fluid and to roll on it with one of those face roller things... She SHOULD have sent me straight to an ultrasound. Had she done that, I would have known I had a large and GROWING hematoma. I had to request an appt on my own from my surgical oncologist and find out that way. As a member of my team, she was useless. Plain and simple.

The moment Dr. McElveen comes into the room you sense you’re in good hands. It’s easy to open up any concerns you may have because you don’t feel like she’s too busy to listen, nor do you believe that you’re just a nameless, faceless person, but rather someone who’s important to her. It’s that simple! Dr. McElveen genuinely cares!

When I first walked into Radiotherapy Clinics of Georgia (Snellville) I was terrified. Caroline, the receptionist, was very friendly which made me feel a little better. I was escorted to a patient room where I waited to speak with Dr. Tracy McElveen. As soon as she spoke I felt at ease. She had a big smile. She took the time to go over all of my results and to let me know what I could expect. I was frightened about my cancer diagnosis; but after Dr. McElveen took the time to explain everything, I knew I could get through this step. She never rushed me during the consultation. She made me feel like I was her only patient. She was very upbeat about the process. Since starting my treatments Dr. McElveen has always been available for questions. I mention to everyone about how good I feel about receiving my treatments at RCOG in Snellville. Dr. McElveen has made a life changing event, in my life, very bearable.
