Rude
I made an appointment with her cause the other doctor I see wasn’t available. She was rude, unfriendly, didn’t care to hear what I had and rushed me out. Won’t be coming back to her ever again

Gaslighting Specialist
Both times I’ve seen Dr. Carter, she has gaslighted my concerns, told me my body/health “doesn’t work that way” when other doctors have said it does in fact “work that way” sometimes, and made me feel like I haven’t lived in my own body for decades. My ear had been bleeding for three days. Two people witnessed it that morning and said I needed to see a doctor to find out why, so I did. Dr. Carter said it looked textbook normal. It hurt more when she applied pressure with the scope in the ear with the complaint and not for the other and she basically shrugged it off. I received a second opinion and had a cut in my ear that I can only assume she couldn’t see for some reason. All it took for relief was over the counter remedies. She probably could have helped with a different angle of her scope, but I’m speculating at this point. If you want to be gaslighted, go see Dr. Carter. If you need actual assistance, go to urgent care.

Why do I keep getting bad luck with the doctors from Kelsey Seybold?. Ive made the mistake of going twice for yearly physical. She didn't bother ordering labs which was odd. told me to just keep a journal when i mentioned chest pain. I was really nervous about attempting my first pap smear. I felt pressured to get one even though im at low risk.I asked for her to use pediatric size which I know exist , and she said she didn't have any. It hurt so bad even though she said she hadn't even placed it in yet. I could tell she was rolling her eyes and impatient with me. I remember reaching down like a protective reflex from the pain. I've had a much better experience with Dr. Rissuto.

I have Charcot Marie Tooth and major anxiety... Dr. Carter didn’t listen to anything I’ve said. Having a disability where you have flair ups causes trying to balance medication. I told her what did work for me and she completely kept dismissing what I said. Kept telling me to get off a medication I’ve been off of for over a month... She was also very arrogant and talked down to me acting like I don’t understand how my own disability affects me.

She is not my regular dr. I went in with various unusual, uncorrelated symptoms near a holiday. I left with 'keep a journal' and come back when there's correlation. She didn't even do a blood test. And, told me that 1-2 bowel movements a week are normal - that is not.

I am a very complex patient with A LOT of of conflicting ailments. Diabetes, Gastroparesis, Pernicious Anemia, Restless Leg Syndrome, Chronic Pain, Chronic Fatigue, Organic Brain Syndrome. She told me that there is no such thing as insomnia, would not treat my chronic pain, would not take ownership of my care, told me to take OTC meds that conflicted with other ailments, was very dismissive, condescending and rude. SOOOO grateful I will not have to rely on her for anything come the new year!

Where do I Start? She didn't seem friendly? She asked me about my symptoms and when tried to describe them she cut me off rudely....when a person go to the dr they are suppose to feel comfortable with their physician....I didn't get that vibe. She barely made eye contact....overall the visit felt rushed. Didn't even help me with a diagnosis. O yeah and I had blood work done almost 3 weeks ago and still haven't had the results. Will not be returning to her!
