I've never known a situation where a parent chooses an anesthesiologist, and in my experience, the doctors drawn to this specialty are not exactly the warm and fuzzy patient relationship types. Dr. Raschbaum was a welcome exception--efficient AND friendly, taking time to answer questions and even a little small talk to make this patient more comfortable.
