Dr. Tonja Austin, MD

She was my oldest two children’s doctor for years. When I was forced to switch their doctors due to insurance purposes, I lost contact. Now 8 years later I have been looking for her to be my youngest child’s pediatrician and I can’t find her practice.

BEWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS SERVICE PROVIDER!! The staff was very unprofessional, certainly not what you’d expect for a first visit. After waiting almost 2 months for this appointment I was quite disappointed to learn I wouldn’t meet the doctor due to being provided the address. The address for the clinic is also published incorrectly. One would think after the practice was moved this information would be updated wrong. After making an unnecessary trip to the wrong location I was provided the correct address. I notified the staff and advised I’d be late as I was provided the wrong information. Opposed to accommodating me due to their error I was told to reschedule. I have no desire to patronize any business that negates to hood themselves accountable for their mistake.

Her staff is incompetent and rude. I made my appt for 10am and they made the appt for 9:45am. When I arrived, they said I could not see the dr because I was late for an appt I didn’t make. When I tried to get them to take my fmla paperwork to the dr they said I had to reschedule to come back and get paperwork signed although I had just seen the dr two weeks prior. Meanwhile, the point of my appt was to address my allergic reactions so I did not take my medication and was having an allergic reaction in the office and was still refused treatment. I wanted to like this dr but her staff just ruined my entire day. Do not bother. They also refused to fill out my medical documents for my leave of absence.

Dr. Austin explains everything, ask if you have any questions, She is a pleasant and friendly person who really cares about the individual.

Awesome doctor! Great with kids and adults. The staff are also great.

Dr. Austin is one of the best physicians I have seen. I feel very comfortable talking to her and she makes me feel relaxed and she talks to me as if we were old friends catching up. She takes time to listen and answer questions. I would definitely recommend her. My only peeve is dealing with the office staff. But that is easily overlooked since I am really there for the doctors help not theirs and she's great!
