She refused to admit there might be a problem when I wasn’t able to eat after j pouch surgery. Said I was a slow healer. After a 2nd and 3rd opinion they both agreed that the jpouch surgery hadn’t been done properly and her response to me was,” I am a world class surgeon, I don’t make mistakes” then asked to examine me herself and made no apology just suggested that I go to Rochester mayo.

Honesty comes hard for them.......
Can't leave a long review here - so see my Google review for more detail. A blockage missed 9/22 - but claims it was left there on purpose (2/23)??? - to a reschedule of another surgery with a diff Mayo Surgeon (10/23) that I canceled because there is NO trust. They lied to my face repeatedly during 2 weeks in 9/22 and then 6 days inpatient for a severe blockage during a Covid episode (CT scan showed it). Didn't find out until early Feb, confirmed 5/23 with repeat Colonoscopy by Mayo GI, not surgery. Blockage pains occasionally. I just can't get beyond the MANY questions that were either unanswered intentionally/skirted by many, or wrong answers to my face. I've been doing this for 38 years, 17 surgeries at many places and NEVER have I left without knowing what had happened nor have I ever been lied to. I will either go back to my previous surgeon, GREAT, or look elsewhere. What if I hadn't gotten Covid? Covid was a mixed blessing for me. You MUST be told the good AND the bad!

She almost caused the death of my niece - Cedars Sinai Dr Fleishner saved her life! Another Dr in Chicago just told she’s lucky to be alive after her treatment with this doctor.

Dr. Young-Fadok is an amazing doctor. She clearly understood my health status even before my appointment. In my appointment, she not only recommended the best procedure and referred me to the best doctor for the procedure but also arranged my appointment with the doctor in front of me. It was one of the best customer services in my life. Because of her, I could get the best treatment. Thank you, Dr. Young-Fadok.
