Dr. Starck is a phenomenal surgeon
Dr. Starck saved my son’s eye after the opthalmologists at Vanderbilt wanted to remove the eye due to an advanced corneal infection. After Dr. Starck examined my son’s eye, he scheduled surgery for a corneal transplant for the following week. Because of Dr. Starck’s superior skill, he saved my son’s eye. Miraculously, my son now has 20/60 vision in that eye! Dr. Starck and his staff are pleasant and caring. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Starck and his staff have been kind, considerate, and professional. I went in due to an early onset of cataracts and was desperate for help. After cataract surgery and having my vision corrected, I am now at 20/15 in both eyes. For every morning I wake up and see everything perfectly clear, I praise God for the skill that Dr. Starck was blessed with. This Marine salutes you Dr. Starck, you Julia (surgery coordinator) and all your staff are awesome and a joy to work with.

There was a female employee arguing with a male employee and patients could hear them. She was quite rude, new staff from 6 months ago was rude. The billing lady Savanna was terribly rude and unprofessional. A shame as I like Dr Starck!

The only complaint was the wait time to be seen. But, being that I made it towards the end of the day I had no other pressing appointments

As of today my wife has had cataracts removed from both her eyes. While Dr. Starck delivers superior results, his office is very insensitive and uncaring of patients time when it comes to scheduling surgery times. As an example today my wife was asked to be in the hospital at 9:45 am for surgery but this was the case for another 15 patients. We sat in the waiting room and waited and waited and we finally got out of the 20 minute procedure at 3:00 pm. There is no regard for the patient.

My wife had the surgery about 6 months ago. She was instructed to not eat or drink, starting from the night before the operation, which she did. The operation was not performed until about 5 pm, 24 hours later with no food or drink. Dr. Starcks staff stated that they had no control over the hospital, implying that it was not their problem. I observed a haughty uncaring attitude on many occasions when we went in for the various checkups. My wife is more forgiving, but this is my review.

Doctor is good, service is terrible. Staff meetings take priority over patient appointments. Always have to wait at least 45 min before I get called. Confirmed appointment, here on time only to find that they have a staff meeting that lasts at least 39 min after my scheduled appointment.

I could have started forest fires with my glasses I was so nearsighted. I have a scleral buckle on my left eye. I had a cataract. Yet, I was reluctant to have surgery with Dr. Starck as I figured I was a lost cause and I was afraid that even with this lousy vision, one little mistake could make it worse. But I did it. LIFE CHANGING EVENT. So far, I'm seeing 20/20! I have white walls instead of beige! The man is a miracle worker. And everyone who works there is very skilled and NICE!

Open honest discussion prior to surgery. Great vision 1 day after operations. One eye has a fixed lens and the other has a multi-focal lens. Now been 2 years since surgery and my eye sight is great. Without hesitation recommend Dr. Starck.
