Wonderful Dr.
My name is Susan H-S. It’s going to be 3 years in June since I woke up from surgery to learn I have stg 4 ovarian cancer. Dr. Buchanan was involved with my surgery, follow-ups, chemo, and maintenance. From the very start I felt cared about. He looks right at you when he speaks, not the computer, he listens and wants to know how you are feeling, answers all my questions and he always asks me what upcoming plans I have. In the worse possible situation (having cancer), I feel I have a Dr. who cares about me as a person and that makes me feel comforted. PS. All the nurses and staff are also amazing.

My name is Kathy Gray. I recently became a patient of Dr. Tommy Buchanan, Jr. Dr. Buchanan is an extremely caring and compassionate doctor. I leave each visit knowing he truly cares about my well-being. Also, during visits with him, he answers all of my questions and I never feel that he rushes through my appointment in order to see his next patient. Lastly, I would like to give lots of kudos to Nurse Kerry Fleming. She is the best; and such an amazing nurse and person. It's always a pleasure seeing her at each of my visits. I am fortunate to have them both on my Care Team.

An excellent doctor.
Excellent. Dr. Buchanan is a very caring, conscientious and kind doctor. He very patiently and clearly answers any questions and concerns that I may have. I am very fortunate that he was recommended to me. He makes his patients feel safe and he is diligent and very intelligent. God bless him!! The nurses and nursing assistants at Abington Hospital were all very kind as well.

Exceptional
Dr. Buchanan is the rare doctor who actually looks at you and listens rather than staring at his computer during the visit. He takes care of that after our visit. I have never felt rushed or unheard. He is a good listener and very caring. I was extreme lucky to have been referred to him for my cancer treatment.
