Dr. Tommie Haywood III, MD

The procedure went fine as I received plenty of reminders and care. However, the Rx I received is difficult to use and more attention to my calls would have been appreciated.

I am very unhappy with my experience with Dr Tommie Haywood. His doctor patient communication skills are terrible. But more importantly, he failed to provide timely and accurate information to an imaging provider. I had 4 weeks after my last appt with him to get a CT scheduled and completed. It should have been plenty of time. It took about 10 days before the imaging ctr. rec’d the order from his office. But the order did not incl with or without contrast so I could not schedule my appt. Dr Haywood did not correct the CT order for at least a week in spite of the fact that I called his office EVERY business day asking for help and messaged via the portal. Two days before my scan the imaging vendor called me to cancel because they had not received any clinical information from Dr Haywood's office for my insurance company to review for approval. He did not respond until the day before my CT was supposed to take place. Also, he didn't release my biopsy results for 3 wks after he rec'd it.

Went to visit Dr Haywood with Ultrasounds results in hand. Doctor did not explain or listen to me. Only recommend another procedure. I canceled the appointment the same day. He’s not a good listener. Ask me the same questions twice. I will be going to another location for my appointments

I have been waiting 35 days for test results. I have called 13 times. Completely unacceptable.

I have been following Dr Haywood for years. I’ve received nothing but thorough and professional service from him and his office staff. I always trust them with my care.

Very informative. Dr Haywood explained everything to me in a very professional and easy to understand manner.

He seldom made eye contact. His focus was on reading the medical chart. He did not do any type of routine exam on me. He repeated questions he asked me supporting that he was not engaged. The office staff provided no assistance on information to get blood work done. More interest was placed on making a follow up appointment. Will not return.

I had a delightful visit with Dr. Tommie Haywood as a result of his suggestion I get an abdominal scan after having had a colonoscopy a few months ago. His demeanor was very calming, he was not rushed, and asked if I was okay after each of his recommendations. In addition to asking all of the relevant medical questions and making recommendations, he inquired how I’d be spending the remainder of the day, where I was from, etc. It makes a world of difference (at least to me) when my doctors display this type of kind and caring human touch. In addition before leaving the parking lot, I received a text and his very competent staff had already set up follow-up tests for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Haywood and his staff to anyone I know,

His staff was very friendly and professional. I barely even sat down in the waiting room for my initial appointment. I was called back before finishing with my kiosk. The wait in the room was just a few minutes, and Dr. Haywood couldn't have been nicer. Our initial consult was very pleasant, and his office scheduled me for a colonoscopy and gave me my paperwork for my labs quickly.

I love me some Dr. Haywood, I have been a patient for over 10 years. He is the same Dr. from over 10 years ago, very nice, listen to what you have to say. He address any concerns you have. He never rush the appointment. He always have great advice. I always feel like we are family members instead of patients. He is a Dr. that still loves his job and his patients. I wish we had more Dr. like him. I would follow Dr. Haywood to the moon and back. He is that great, awesome, trustworthy, funny, and well put together. Thanks for allowing me to give feedback about the best Dr. in the world. That's My Doctor!!!!!

Dr. Haywood is an excellent physician. He asks the right questions, monitors my conditions, and makes good recommendations of treatment. Under his care, I have been in tension for more than 10 years now.

Dr. Haywood is one of the very best when it comes to "a doctor who cares about his patients". And he is especially good at his job.
