Dr. Wente is a superb communicator with a great bedside manner. He's the guy!

From the easy parking and access, to the comprehensive discharge instructions, things could not have gone smoother. Dr. Wente's pre and post operative care is very thorough and instills confidence in his ability and experience to perform a procedure resulting in good outcomes.

He is the greatest listener! Wants to hear your issues before he assessed next steps which he detailed all the options. (Taking his time.) He included me in the decision process & made everything so crystal clear. Importantly: he knows his stuff!! I never had a doubt he could get me to my goals after knee replacement. I am doing well under his wings and recommend him to everyone! He’s a TEN!The only negative has NOTHING to do with the Dr. The communications department needs much improvement. Difficult to get message to Dr or callback from office. Staff told me twice they never received my messages. That is not the Dr fault.

From the onset of the visit, Dr. Wente was able to quickly diagnose my issues and give me hope that we could treat it as successfully as possible in the time I ahad allotted lot of him. Lol. He was very amenable in trying to help me achieve a remedy until I have more time to treat it fully. I was very pleased.

Dr Wente was very knowledgeable about my issue. He asked very pertinent questions and relieved my shoulder pain.

I had a very good experience with Dr Wente. I had a lot of pain and weakness in my right leg, hip knee groin area and needed to find out what was causing the pain. He took X-rays and determined it was my hip and recommended I see his associate that specialized in hip problems. Dr Wente explained he specializes in knee problems and not the hip. He went over the X-rays to explain what was going on which was what I needed at the visit.

I have neck, shoulder and knee issues and he pointed me in the right direction to see a Physical Therapist. He explained everything well and showed me the x-rays what is happening. I will see him again when I need to.

Dr. Wente is great about explaining conditions and options for treatments.

Dr wente cray my knee too make sure there was nothing new was wrong with my knee. He is really throrough with my examination

I had a very good experience with a Clinic and Dr Wente. He clearly explain to me what was going on with my shoulder, showed me the x-ray, so I could actually see it and told me what I needed to do to get better, including how long it’s likely to take. I very much liked him, and I will go back to see him.

Dr. Wente answered all of my questions and I never felt he was rushing me. He explained in detail my MRI, his recommendations and why, my options and my prognosis. I understand very well now what my issues are and am able now to use the knowledge he imparted to decide the best option long term for me. He is not the first orthopedic surgeon I have seen for my problems but he is the best.

Great service from staff and Dr Wente. Felt like he listened and made good suggestions, regarding what needs to be done moving forward.

I went to Dr. Wente for a second opinion about my shoulder because it was really hurting and another physician I had see for 1.5 years did not want to operate and had given 1 cortisone shot that did not work. Dr. Wente explained he could put an anchor or 2 in and "clean out the joint". It turned out I had a "medium" tear in the rotator cuff which the MRI didn't really show it was this bad before they operated. I scheduled surgery and am now 7 months post op. My pain is gone. Dr. Wente answered all my questions (I usually have alot), he was calm and collected and said they have good success with this procedure(rotator cuff). I had peace after talking with him so scheduled my surgery. His group at Pananorma were great(I went to Panorama PT also). My pain is gone and am back in the gym lifting weights, swimming and pain free. I highly recommend him. Thank you Dr. Wente!

Was a great listener and gentle with the patient. He is kind, understanding of the procedure and the importance of follow through so the patient gets back to their normal routine.

One of the worst experiences with a Dr. He was in a hurry to get out the door and told me I had frozen shoulder and he didn't know why. He kept saying people with diabetes get it and i didnt have diabetes!! I told him I had an injury that kicked it off and wanted an MRI and he said that was a waste. I got my MRI somewhere else. And guess what, there was a rotator cuff injury and tear!!!! For a "Dr" to haughtily diagnose you without diagnostics is pretty full of themself!! To think you're so good you don't need any hard science to help you diagnose is plain scary he is still practicing !!!!

Dr. Wente made me feel like I was wasting his time by being his patient. We were extremely confused by the options he was giving us, felt the explanations were apathetic and hastily discussed. So much so, that in the middle of my questions regarding a serious surgery decision or not, he had opened the door and stood in the doorway. Perplexed on why he was exposing the offices to my private healthcare conversation, I was about to ask if this was him about to go make copies of something or what, when he dipped during my questions and never came back. In extreme pain, I needed to decide ASAP on surgery or not, and my doctor goes and leaves in the middle of my appointment ? Without a goodbye, confirmation that I was satisfied with my concerns, had my questions answered and my needs met, etc. We were so confused, I had to ask someone if my doc was coming back! Had to tell her to tell him I needed prescription refills.. I changed doctors.

Things seemed promising after my initial appointment, but Dr. Wente's office never contacted me to discuss the results of the MRI that he ordered for me, and none of the voicemails I left have been returned. This was all a huge waste of time and money on my part, and my pain has only increased.

Dr. Wente took the time to not only validate my pain and symptoms, but to explain everything to me. He put me at ease, educated me when I asked questions and gave me "next step" actions. Would highly recommend Dr. Wente. He was a breath of fresh air for me.
