I would never recommend him
Horrible! I had an appointment to have a bone spur removed at 1:00 pm. They said to be there 15 minutes early, but that wasn't my appointment time. I got there right at 1:00 so they refused to see me! So a couple of problems with this, they are as follows: 1. It wasn't clear i would be turned away if I wasn't 15 minutes early, if this was the case they should have made my appointment at 12:45. 2. How many times do they make patients wait? I had to wait my last appointment. The receptionist trying to check me in said I wasn't late. Plus I repeatedly tried to get some information on after care but a nurse never called me. Plus they messed up on my x-rays, I tried to tell the lady it was my ankle not my foot. She dismissed me so I had to go back down for another set of exray and you guessed it at my expense! All this and I have to start over with another doctor when the bone spur causes me to be in agony, a 9 or 10 on the pain scale. This Doctor and his staff do not care!

I felt that Dr. Skiles was unprepared for my visit. He had no X-rays available to him to actually see what was going on, only relying on chart notes from urgent care Dr.

I broke my foot. Dr Skiles explained things well. He did not rush into surgery. He wanted to see if my foot would heal on its own. I did need surgery eventually and I feel he did an excellent job. He is very patient, explained things well and answered all my questions. I did not feel like he was hurrying on to the next patient. I would highly recommend Dr. Skiles.
