Reservations initially, Great Results
I had initial reservations about options presented by UM center, surgical and other. Felt initial appointment was rushed, discussing with multiple providers in one brief encounter. After doing homework on options, and follow up discussions with Dr Morgan, concerns were resolved. I could not be happier with the care received and the work he and other participating providers performed. I moved forward with Dr Morgan after believing he's an expert in his specialty, and my experience and outcomes furthers that belief. I would suggest you weigh your care / clinical pathway options. Glad I pursued additional information beyond initial care experience. I think we are fortunate to have such a skilled provider in our area.

My husband and I went to see Dr Morgan for second opinion. He and Dr Robert Dess the radiation oncologist entered the room together. They explained to my husband and myself that the cancer has been called early and that both treatments would be appropriate be at surgery or radiation. They explain the benefits of their position and the side effects of each option. My husband is in the process of making a decision. But both doctors were very compassionate compassionate and knowledgeable within their fields. Extremely compassionate and patient and answer that question is until we were exhausted. I would highly recommend Dr Morgan.

I saw Dr Morgan once. He seemed like all he wanted to do is surgery. As he was going through my prostate removal surgery he keep saying things like well there are other surgeries to fix things. He acted like since I have no active sex life at present, any future sex life was not of concern. But then there are other surgeries to fix that, if I want to have sex. He really did not appear to want to discuss any other treatments. I felt like I was just not really informed about anything, except every time I talk to someone at Rogel Cancer center it was being asked to be part of another study. I have no doubt he may be a skilled surgeon, but over all the staff at the center does not communicate well with patients. I felt lonely, uninformed, and not a human, just another paycheck.

Dr Morgan, is not only a great surgeon but a Doctor who can communicate with his patients in a manner which keeps them well informed and at ease. After my surgery there has been no complications. His ongoing follow up ( it's almost three years) since my surgery, has been very thorough.
