Dr. Moldawer is as good as it gets
I have known Dr. Moldawer for over 20 years. Unfortunately the circumstances have not been positive but when it comes to the procedures Dr. Moldawer has performed in me I can't think of anyone else I want to perform such critical procedures. Dr. Moldawer has always been extremely professional and honest. I may not always get the result I want from a procedure but I know Dr. Moldawer has done everything in his power to increase the changes of success. I would highly recommend Dr. Moldawer to someone who is in need of the best Orthopedic Surgeon.

I would absolutely recommend Dr Moldawer, my only regret is that I didn't go to him sooner!! It was extremely comforting to have the staff at the Hospital speak so highly of Dr Moldawer, and that he expected them to follow his directions to the T.

L4-5 laminectomy from whiplash car accident decades ago that got so bad I needed surgery or I'd lose bowel function. Nothing else worked. I asked nurse why I had IV in both arms. She said he was the only doctor who does that since he once had an iv fail in surgery, Since this is the only surgery type with a separate billing code for failure, this is EXACTLY the kind of doctor to have! You're very lucky if you are treated by this brilliant surgeon. Several years later at age 71, i have my FULL life back!

This is my third lumbar operation, having had priors in 2008 and 2015 for L4/L5 stenosis. This was a fusion at same location. Previous op experience excellent, and given the complexity and length of the fusion, it is amazing that the pain levels were so low in recovery, in the hospital room, and subsequently at home.

After spending a week in the hospital in extreme pain getting zero answers from hospitalist, Dr. Moldawer was called in to look at my MRI's. He immediately told me I had a ruptured disc, set a plan, told me he would take care of me and literally saved me from a month long traumatic experience. He and his staff worked hard to make my surgery happen in record time given everything that needed to be done pre - op including COVID-19 testing. I'm thankful for everything Dr. Moldawer did for me, his calm demeanor, expertise, and support when I needed it most.

I saw Dr. Todd Moldawer in January for a back injury. He directed me to conservative possible remedies first, and when those didn't resolve the problem, got me in for surgery as quickly as possible. After the surgery, before I was awake, he had called my wife to let her know the multi-level procedures went well. I awoke to no back pain, just the normal incision pain anytime you have a surgery. I have been pain free since. By the way, I was walking three hours after I woke up from the surgery, discharged the next day, and am walking now 3 miles a day two weeks later. I couldn't imagine having better care from a doctor or the hospital, Valley Presbyterian. Thank you
