Dr. Todd Michaelis, MD

Dr. Michaelis listens, gives adequate time and is quick to make appropriate referrals when needed. Finding a good doctor is incredibly difficult. Finding a great doctor who matches one's individual needs is next to impossible.

Dr. Todd is truly amazing; he is able to approach medical issues both mundane and serious in a relaxed, conversational and educational approach with his patients. His memory for details of his patient's health history is uncanny and his care for his patient's health is obvious, especially in the amount of time he dedicates to his patients in each visit. Vists to Dr. Todd reveal a genuine patient-first approach, and he is never afraid or too busy to spend the time to try to address a health issue

I have been a patient of Dr. Michaelis since we moved to South Portland in June of 2015. He, and his staff, have been most courteous and accommodating in all aspects of our medical needs. The patient portal requests are met quickly with either a followup email or a phone call. Our appointments are on time and we are in the exam room in less that 10 minutes. The overall service and genuine concern for our well being is deeply appreciated. I highly recommend his office.
