Dr. Todd Jacobs, MD

'I am writing this review to address an issue with the billing department at Dr. Jacobs' office.I recently received an unexpected invoice from Quest Diagnostics for a blood test ordered by Dr. Jacobs office. Up until this point, I have never received a direct bill from an outside vendor for tests performed at a doctor's office, as all previous tests were covered by my insurance.After inquiring with Dr. Jacobs' office multiple times, I was informed that since the bill came from Quest, that they were not responsible for it, nor would look into it. However, upon contacting Quest, I was told that the issue stemmed from incorrect coding on the paperwork submitted by Dr. Jacobs' office.While I understand that the invoice amount is relatively small ($15), the lack of assistance and the conflicting information from the office staff is deeply concerning. This experience has unfortunately diminished my trust in the office's ability to handle administrative matters efficiently and professional

Dr. Jacobs listened to and addressed all my concerns, explained proper care in simple terms, and was accurate in his estimated recovery time when I followed his direction

Appears to care very little about the welfare of at least one of his patients; does not appear truthful

Saw after being admitted at Holy Cross, he did check up on me but was hard to get info out of. Was told to contact if I had questions about my discharge and medication. Whomever answered the phones told me I needed to call someone else?! Ask that he was on my discharge contact then stated I guess you don't care. They responded SORRY. Guess that's what was behind his smirk at the hospital.
