As an update to my previous comment about being told to see a psychologist when I had UTI and diarrhea.... I have just been told I have C DIFF. Maybe you can learn from this to not ignore your patient's symptoms and tell them it's psychosomatic.

Dr Deavens is not only an outstanding professional in his practice of Medicine, but he is friendly, personable, empathetic, and hands down one of the best physicians I've seen in my 34 years of life. I haven't seen a doctor going on 10 years now due to fear and anxiety. I've always been one to associate a doctor's visits with bad news. At almost 35, I decided it was time for a full physical including EKG, blood, urine, xray imaging and so on. Togeather, he & I conquered a fear of mine. A+
