Dr. Toby Kirkwood, DO

The office was very courteous, attentive with reminders, and made sure paperwork was in good order. Visit with Dr. Kirkwood was great! He took his time and listened to everything I had to say. He related and understood what was going on with me, and gave me several options, allowing me to decide the best path to take.As a veteran, Dr. appointments can get very frustrating, but I didn't feel rushed at all, and was very comfortable with the options.I highly recommend Dr. Toby Kirkwood.

I am a patient of Dr Ron. I was saddened to hear about his retirement. He is the one who recommended Dr Toby to me. My first visit went very well. I had some other issues come up and I had to see the nurse practitioners. I saw Dr John a couple of times due to the birth of his daughter. When I saw Dr Toby on my last visit, when I asked questions, he talked to the medical student more than me. I do hate to call for an appointment and can’t get in to see him. I have been with the Kirkwoods since 1992, starting with Dr Mike. All of my records are there and I don’t want to change PCP’s. I just hope that the next time I need to see him, I actually see him and he talks to me and not the students (I like the idea of seeing the students ALONG with Dr Toby

After my doctor's appointment last month Dr Toby sent out several referrals for tests that it's time for me to have again this year. I appreciate his thoughtfulness and his actions to make these things happen as soon as possible. Dr Toby is an excellent Doctor!

Kind, Courteous, Professional, and MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL.... VERY SMART AND KNOWLEDGEABLE AND GOOD COMMUNICATION SKILLS. He talks TO me, not AT me !!!! He listens. And - fabulous staff as well - the whole package.

Great visit... both my daughter and I saw him at the same time. He answers questions and if he can’t he will find you someone who can. The nursing staff were also very pleasant. Office was very clean and I felt safe there even with us in this crazy Covid time.

The Kirkwood physicians have been our family physicians for at least 30 years. The current physician Toby has been a really great experience since Dr Bo retired.
