Very informative and really seems to enjoy his job and treating people with kindness.

Dr zisman is overall a great doctor. But they never ran my pre-authorization for my temporary insurance that I had for two months after phasing out of my parents insurance, and was unable to receive my medication. Very unhelpful is obtaining it, I (the patient) had to call my insurance, two different speciality pharmacies, and the manufacturing company to have my meds filled, and they still cannot send in the RX in a timely manner even though I haven’t had my medication in two weeks because of their mistake. Still haven’t received it, and they still have not done anything with it for over 24 hours. If I hadn’t don’t the ground work in calling all these places myself, I still wouldn’t have any idea how to get my medication, but still have no idea when I will receive it.

I have been dr Zisman’s patient for many years. Originally at UW and now at VM. He is patient, caring and always giving me the best care. I have had Crohn’s for 30 years and I feel incredibly lucky to be in his care. He is up on all the latest medications and treatments for me. I would recommend 10/10

i highly recommend against this "doctor" , he has neglected me as a patient throughout my whole experience , the first thing he recommended without having seen my condition was to get surgery, as a 19 year old, afterwards he didn't contact me for two months, as if he wanted me to have to get surgery, this doctor also withheld a medicine without telling me before hand that i've been on for over two years that i need for cramping for my colitis, he withheld it telling me that i would have to get labs done to get it and told me it was "within my power to go 'today' within the hour/today or anytime, i can choose to help my own care" , he told me this when i already had a appointment coming up, and as i asked him to not withhold it and told him i don't think it's a good idea to take a patient off a medicine they've been on for over two years , he then told me it was a bandaid and he "doesn't have time for this" and hung up on me ,

This doctor has sent his assistant to cancel an appointment and disallow my son from seeing a different doctor. Virginia Mason should review his actions.

Dr Z is an incredible doc. Kind, accommodating, warm. He truly cares and I trust his judgment immensely. He is thorough and then always gives me time to ask questions.

This was my first procedure with this doctor. He was punctual, polite, explained everything he would be doing and was quite pleasant. I had a very good experience.

Most arrogant doctor I’ve never met. He cut me off while I was trying to talk. I’m never going back here. Very poor bedside manner.
