Dr. Timothy Vittorio, MD

Dr. Vittorio spent quality time getting to know my medical history and asking me relevant questions re my daily lifestyle and general behavior so as to ascertain specific strategies to reduce health risks he detected in my case and to improve my overall longevity and vitality - if as a university professor I was requested to rate his expertise and demeanor, I wouldn't hesitate to render a grade of A Plus. He's great!

This was my first visit to a cardiologist, so, I was anxious about what was going to happen! Dr Vittorio was extremely professional during the examination . Everything was explained to me and all my questions were answered! I was able to leave his office a much calmer person than when I entered! There were follow-up calls from Dr. Vittorio to see how I was doing with the new medication that I was put on and with explanations of the echocardiogram that I had taken at his recommendation. I feel very comfortable to call his office if I have any questions and I will be returning for my follow-up visits!

I was fortunate enough that Dr. Vittorio was working on the weekend my father was admitted to ER at Bronxcare while traveling from Maryland to come to visit his daughter. After he was admitted, Dr. Vittorio made the decision to move him to CCU and got to the bottom of his heart issue/heart attack. We got to meet with him twice/day while my father was in CCU and every time we met with him he was articulate, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to educate us about the heart and even volunteered to speak to my sister that lives out of state and explain his condition. He's such a caring doctor that he wanted to stay updated on his progress. My father was discharged after 5 days and even after 1 month I am still in touch with him and run all medical matters by him. If my father wasn't old I would have him travel from Maryland to NY to see him. You won't find a doctor like him in this world. I would recommend him to all my family and friends. Dr. Vittorio is a gem.!

Dr. Vittorio is the only cardiologist I trust. My husband and I searched top cardiologist in the US and Dr. Vittorio was the one we choose. We travel four hours from Maryland to see him because we trust and believe in him. He's always available to answer any question and willing to fit us in at the last minute to ease my concerns. He's very passionate and caring and you don't see doctors like that anymore, which is why we will follow him anywhere. I met Dr. Vittorio as I developed a heart problem that I needed to make a decision on whether I should go a surgery. After he closely examined my case, health condition, Dr. Vittorio provided some options based on the most updated understanding of the heart problem and recommended for a surgery. I followed his advice and after the surgery, I fully recovered. My symptoms disappeared and I have lived as a health person without any medication any more. Dr. Vittorio is patient, caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend him to "My Mom if she should have the heart problem."

Dr Tim Vittorio was my fathers cardiologist. Dr Vittorio is very knowledgeable and thorough however I equally impressed with his personalization of each patient, which is rare to find these days.
