Disappointment!!! Requesting a dementia test for my mother. Dr. Tim Timwell forgot to send the referral... How unprofessional for a doctor to forget... It seem like the office manger did not want to address the issue... Next time you ask for a referral make sure you follow up because the might forget....

May 8 I had appointment at 1:30. I live 35 miles away. Got caught in traffic on the way in. I’m always 30 min early. They tell me I’m that I’m 12 minutes late and they have a 10 minute limit. I’ll have to reschedule., I am a patient with cancer in both lungs. My spinal fusion is coming apart. I had a heart attack a year and a half ago, and these people will not let me see the doctor., this is a disgrace I’m also 100% veteran disabled

I had a bad visit with Dr Tidwell. Opening question from the medical assistant was “are you depressed?” I took offense to the question Dr comes in and chastised why I haven’t seen him for 1 year and 3 months. I told him he is hard to get an appt which is true. I used the walk in clinic 3 months ago because I couldn’t get in and also another walk in clinic a month before that for an upper respiratory . We discussed my labs and let him know my chief complaints were. Pain was one of them. Told me to take acetamino for pain after I told him I’m in pain a lot in my back and hip. I’ve had back fusion surgery and was medically disabled a decade ago. He told me my hip pain was probably arthritis without ordering a X-ray . Then he treated me like I was a pain Med seeker checking my pharmacy records. ( must be drug seeking if I see a dr every 12 months!) I was appalled and disgusted. I’m looking for a new primary dr. His cavalier attitude was not for me. I need a dr that cares and has empathy

Attentive to the patient, caring, knowledgeable, thorough, and all around well run practice. All of my needs were listened to and cared for in a timely fashion.

Low stress office, I had his complete attention during appointment, and he was generous with referrals and follow up.

My most recent visit was for the annual wellness check. Dr. Tidwell is always easy to talk with, he listens, asks questions and gives his thoughts and recommendations. I've never had a doctor that appeared to care so much about his patients as an individuals and a whole person. I moved from Atascadero almost 2 years ago but gladly drive back to keep Dr. Tidwell my primary care physician.

I would recommend Dr. Tidwell for anyone and everyone I know.

Dr. Timothy Tidwell is an excellent doctor... he was very well prepared for my 1st visit and had researched and studied my medical history with increadible accuracy! I love his staff and the constant communication they employ with me regarding referrals and appointments. I have recommended many of my old school guy friends to see him.

I did not have the same pleasant experience with Dr Tidwell, both times I saw him I waited longer than 30 min in the room for him and when I wasn’t satisfied with the explanation I was given about labs he became quite rude and said his feelings wouldn’t be hurt if I found another Dr. that there were plenty of patients out there looking for a new dr and also because I didn’t want to take a certain supplement, instead of any other options he said “look if your going to come to me and not take my advice than you shouldn’t bother coming” verbatim!!!! He is not the Dr for me, and the last thing I’m worried about is HIS feelings. To rude for me

Dr Tidwell is an excellent physician. He’s kind, thoughtful, and has a genuine connection with his patients. I appreciate not feeling rushed as well as not having to wait for long periods of time for him to arrive. His office, somehow, runs on time most of the time. This is a first for me. Congratulations!

He is the worst Dr. I have ever seem. He made me feel like a drug addict because I have a life long disease. I asked her hat he continue the same medication I have taken for over 10 years and he wanted to play games and give me a unsafe amount making it unsafe for me to drive. I have never been treated as bad or like my health care provider did not care about my well being.

I feel that Dr. Tidwell is excellent, very personable, and compassionate. I am normally hesitant to see doctors, but Dr. Tidwell put me at ease and I feel he really listens to my concerns and point of view. I recently developed an on-going problem that caused a leave of absence from work. Dr. Tidwell took the time to explore all of the treatment options, and patiently explained his reasoning behind his treatment recommendations.

My first visit resulted in Dr. Tidwell sending me to ER by ambulance because an EKG indicated a 3rd. degree heart block. A pacemaker was implanted that night. Follow-up care has focused on eliminating excessive water retention and getting blood pressure to normal, while monitoring effectiveness and side effects of meds. Dr. Tidwell has earned my confidence in his expertise, attentiveness, and judgment.

Dr. Tidwell was wonderful, he took his time to see me and explain everything thoroughly. He was very knowledgeable without being snobbish like some medical professionals. He really took the time to listen to me and suggest the best course of care, which I really appreciate. I usually don’t care for doctors ?? but I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Tidwell, Thank you for your kind and caring nature. I felt like you would be compassionate Doctor. I just want you to know that I am moving on with my care. I know that it can only be a possible longer existence, and not a cure. I have hope that I will feel better also. Thank you

My visit to Dr. Tidwell's office as a first time patient was regarding a serious concern. Dr. Tidwell and his staff addressed my concern with a professional sense of urgency that surpassed all expectation. I was able to complete the testing required and receive feedback on the results, directly from Dr. Tidwell, all within 24 hours. The use of an online platform to communicate made the entire process incredibly easy and accessible. I could not be more satisfied.

I really like Dr. Tidwell. He is easy to talk to and breaks the mold of the old school physician who does not listen to you.
