Dr. Timothy Queen, MD

I had terrible sinus infections for years. It was so bad I couldn't even smell anything. When I went to see Dr. Queen, I had a sinus headache for almost 2 weeks with no relief from medication. It turned out I had a blocked ethmoidal duct (ethmoid sinusitis) We discussed treatment plans but considering how bad my infection was, surgery was the best option. I also had a deviated septum that he addressed. Recovery wasn't bad and when it was over with and I took the packing out I could smell for the first time in years and my taste improved significantly as well. Also no more headaches, and I haven't had a bad sinus infection since the surgery in 2014. I also took my son here for bad sinus infections, terrible snoring and constant swollen lympnods. He had his adenoids removed and began an allergy regimen because he has MANY allergies.

Dr. Queen and his team of medical staff are very friendly and help me relax during my visit. I have had ENT issues for many years, and he is the lonely doctor that I felt comfortable visiting. His spirit is a sincere love for the job and making me feel better. I enjoy each visit because the staff let me see it is not as bad as I picture it to be.

Terrible ... terrible bedside manners ... insist on surgery constantly..no matter what ...

Very knowledgeable, great staff, but doctor tends to push for surgery way too much. In two appointments with the doctor, both times he insisted on surgery. Got a second opinion and working on a treatment plan instead of going into surgery. Feel like was seen as some quick cash instead of a patient. He appeared mad that I was refusing the quick surgery he kept pushing for.

Dr Queen has always been so amazing with my family. I recommend him all the time and I would never go anywhere else. His office is clean, he gives toys to the kids, snacks and drinks, and he really does a great job to make his office feel so welcoming.

This doctor is top notch and so is his staff. I got in and everything was explained and other procedures were scheduled right on the spot, I walked out with a portfolio of my visitation and my appointments. First time ever that I have been treated like a king. Really!

Great experience with Dr. Queen. He took his time, went above and beyond, and his staff was great! He recommended I have nasal surgery and he was right . Dr. Queen did my surgery and he was awesome. There was no pain at anytime and now I can breath so much better which leads to much better sleep . Thank you Dr Queen and definitely will recommend him .

Every appointment I've had I wait to wait 45+ minutes, was never once warned by office staff that this is the norm here. When you finally see Dr. Queen he rushes and talks so fast you don't even catch half of what he says. As a prior reviewer wrote, he recommended I have nasal surgery when I came in for a totally unrelated issue. He insissted I don't breathe well through my nose but that I just don't notice it. I assured him I breathe fine.

After spending time with the nurse going over my background, Dr. Queen rushed in to my room and didn’t look at her notes, asking me the same questions. I felt he quickly determined I needed various nose surgeries to help me breathe easier when I came in to have my ears cleaned out. I don’t dispute his diagnoses but he talked too fast, I felt rushed and said I wouldn’t commit to any surgeries without more research. Staff and nurse were quite pleasant. Looking for new doctor but won’t return.

I had suffered a broken nose that hadn't been properly repaired at the time of the incident. After researching doctors in the area, I choose Dr. Queen to assess and correct the damage. He did a great job of explaining my options and what he would need to do to repair my nose. The surgery was successful and it looks great!

My name is Michele Credle and I've been seeing Dr. Queen and Kristen Salvatore for quite some time now and I must say the warmth and comfortable atmosphere here really does wonders when a patient isn't feeling well. Dr. Queen did my surgery and he was awesome. I haven't had anymore sinus issues as before. I love coming here each time because everyone is so welcoming and very sweet. You can tell when the staff of an office really cares about the patients that they service!

Dr. Queens office was really clean and the staff were really friendly. He saw both my kids and they didn't mind him at all poking at their ears and up their noses. He handled them like a pro!

He actually listened and acknowledged me and my allergy tests showed that I have MANY allergies. He reccomended nasal surgery but has not pressured me at all. I have definitely benefited from his knowledge and expertise. I have not waited an abnormal amount if time in the waiting room or in the exam room. Could be my late afternoon appointments. Dr. Queen is thorough and professional. He explained everything about the allergy testing I needed and what my options were. My appointments have always been scheduled in a timely manner. I have never had to wait long in his office at all for an appointment and he spends plenty of time with me each visit, answering all my questions. For my allergy shots I am in and out within 20 minutes of arrival. The staff is friendly and courteous. I love the office decor and I appreciate the cleanliness

I was looking for an ENT to get my daughter in with quickly due to so many tonsil infections over the last year and this one was the worst. I was impressed with how quickly the staff got me in. They got my daughter in that day!! The front staff was very friendly. We didn't have much of a wait time. The clinical staff was thorough with the question. Dr. Queen was kind and funny with my daughter. He was detailed in writing his exam down. I quite enjoyed this practice.

Thank you Dr Queen for helping us in a scary time. Our daughter failed dramatically her hearing screening at school. Dr. Queen went above and beyond to help get us on the right path.Not to mention your warm , friendly and supportive staff was SUPERIOR! I can't express how wonderful of a experience we had with Dr.Queen. If you want the best ENT in Newport News - I PROMISE you , your in the very best of hands with Dr. Timothy Queen.

This guy is a joke.. Very rude, egotistical, should not be dealing with patients... He is all about the money and not the patient.. He hS a lot to learn.

Will never go back. Dr. Queen spent very little time with me. He spoke too fast, and didn't answer my questions. Suggested that I should have allergy testing and sinus surgery. I had heard he does this with most patients. It is true.
