First time patient
This was my first time at this clinic and seeing Dr Mims. Let's just say I left with relief knowing that I believe I have found a doctor that is going to try and help me. He was very courteous and kind and listen to everything I had to say and had a lot of advice to give me about what was going on with my condition and what we can do to try and help me. Jeanie his nurse was fantastic as well she was very helpful and courteous and kind. From the time I walked into the time I left everybody was kind and courteous a very pleasant atmosphere and response from the staff.

Questionaire wasn’t working correctly
Yes I would recommend him, it would not let me answer yes to this on the questionaire. But I was scared because no sedation couldn’t be offered at the time. And I didn’t know if the 2 Valium that was called into my pharmacy would work well enough for it not to hurt. It was a little uncomfortable and this was my first time having this done. But the Valium relaxed me probably a Little too good. But I’m not used to taking anything like that. So it really made me feel very loopy, I barely felt a lot. Just pressure and a little sharp pain. But nothing too bad at all. My neck today feels like a dull bruise, and irritated just where the needles were placed. But my neck pain is tons better. I can move my neck in ways I haven’t been able to in years. And the back of my neck can actually touch a pillow now, also the bad muscle spasms I have had for quite a few years now and tightness is relaxing. The big muscle spasm knots that have been there for about 3 years now are relaxing. A++

Apprehensive Health professional
Dr Mim and his staff were wonderful. Being in a health profession myself I know there are negative connotations are associated with pain treatment. The stigma alone can keeps patient from seeking treatment. After my visit I felt heard and hopeful.

Dr. Mims is the absolute best. This is a Dr. that listens to his patients and that is hard to find anymore. I am so sad to hear he left Vitality Pain, he was one in a million.

Unproffessional and rude staff; I do not recommend
I was not able to schedule an appointment to see this esteemed doctor. The staff were extremely rude, unprofessional, they could not tell me what he specializes in, and they hung up the phone on me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. Mims is very thorough. Takes time to talk and ask questions to see where patient is mentally, physically and pain wise. I really feel he is an excellent Dr. who really cares about his patients. I am considering a HF10 spinal cord stimulator. I am undecided about this it is more complicated than I originally thought. I would like to hear from any who have had this procedure, pros and cons. I have no problem making my own health decisions would just like to have more information from Dr. Mims patients. I do trust him as not only a pain Dr. but as a surgeon as well/

I am a medical provider myself and I have suffered from severe back pain for over a decade from all the years of strain on my back in this medical field. Dr Mims is one of the most caring and knowledgeable doctors I have ever met. He is amazing and I’m so thankful my neurologist referred me to him.

Dr. Mims is a blessing to me. He has helped my pain so much. He is a caring man that seems to understand exactly what is causing the pain and explains it in detail how he will help fix it. He doesn’t just throw medicine at you . He gives you shots that helps with the inflammation so the pain isn’t as bad. I can’t imag going back to where I was without him. The office staff are the greatest. They treat you like a friend and are so great at their job. I love them all
