Not pleasant
Dr. McCarter didn’t even conduct a pre consult or post consult explanation for my endoscopy. Gave unnecessary sedation and side effects on unwarranted sedation.. As a patient under 30yo and person of color put me at great risk and showed a total disregard. Dr. McCarter let the anesthesiologist come and do pre surgery consult. Demonstrated horrible post and pre care micro aggressions and unwarranted behavior for a professional conducting a surgery.

My experience with Dr. McCarter was a pleasant one. He was patient with me when I asked questions after my test. I’m fortunate to have a referral to have him as my gastric doctor and hope together we can solve my mystery issue

Very informative, great bedside manner, does not talk down to you, He's a very good communicator, and he reviewed my previous medications, finding them inadequate for the purpose, and supplemented them, making the necessary coctail for my h. pylori infection. He gives you a sense of confidence in his grasp of the situation. I feel I can trust him without reservation.
