Has a wonderful bedside manner. Right to the point !! Very concerned about my health and always answers or addresses my questions or concerns. He saved my life !!

I am a 70+ year old male with a few health issues. For some time, I have had stomach issues and it got to a point where I decided I needed to see a Doctor. I made an appointment and met with Dr Childers. He was very professional and a good listener. He made notes, reviewed my medical issues, and then explained to me what test he thought I would need to determine what he thought would be necessary to diagnose my problem. After the tests he ordered we met a second time and went over the diagnosis which was exactly what he thought my problem was. At that time, we scheduled to have my Gallbladder removed. In addition, Dr Childers went over some new issues which were discovered after my CT scan. He took the time to explain to me what was discovered and give me advice on how I should proceed with these additional issues. Since I am new to the area, I asked Dr Childers to recommend some doctors I could see for these new issues. He referred me to two doctors I should see for the new issues

Dr. Childers just removed my gall bladder. He has an excellent bedside manner and is a skilled surgeon. I would highly recommend him. His office staff is also very caring and interested in you.

Dr. T. Childers is an outstanding surgeon who is extremely knowledgeable on the latest laparoscopic techniques as he performed an inguinal hernia repair on me. Greta job doctor! He is a non-nonsense doctor at his office at well as at the hospital... saw him in action - outstanding character. Will answer all your questions until you're satisfied. However, I have to mention his office personnel leaves to be desired requiring lots of coordination; that is why my 4-star rating, otherwise is a 5+.

I had a massive hernia.....great dr...explained everything in total detail...besides the pain very happy with the result

Dr. T Childers is a great surgeon. He performed an emergency surgery on my husband, who was in critical condition and the diagnostic results were not conclusive. Thanks to Dr. Childers' excellent professional skills, my husband's life was saved. During the hospital stay (10 days) Dr. Chilres demonstrated very good bedside manners, and he really took care of my husband. He also explained everything patiently and answered all of our questions. Same experience during the post surgery follow-up.

The below negative review clearly is false and from a non-medical provider as it makes no sense! Dr. Childers is simply amazing and takes every precaution in every situation. I am a nurse that works with him occassionally in the OR and can say entirely that he is one of the best surgeons I have ever worked with. The fact that lies are being spewed about him is ludicrous. His bedside manner is above anyone else and his surgical skills are completely top of the line! highly remommend him to all!

Dr. Childers is a good doctor, but his office staff leaves a lot to be desired. We were left waiting for 2 and a half hours while multiple patients who came after us were seen. We inquired and we're told I'm sorry. Then the person at the desk lied to my mother about the appointment time. I made the appointment and later called to confirm. The nurse who was with the doctor when he saw my mother did not do what the doctor told her to do. She had an additude when we came back . Done!

Dr. Childers & his staff are the best!! Had a surgery with Dr. Childers several years ago & I was so impressed with him that when I was recently told I needed surgery again I went back to him. He is very thorough in explaining the process & details & is genuinely concerned that you know exactly what is happening. His staff is great & knowledgeable as well. Hopefully I won't have surgery again but if I do, I'm going back to Dr. Childers!

Dr.Childers is great.Im very thankful I got referred to him.I had a port placement,stomach tumor removed,port removed.Everything he promised me was true.Great office staff my room was always packed with people he always addressed everyone and ended with any questions.Yes I would definitely use him again.

Had surgery with Dr. Childers today and he was great. Explained everything to my husband after the surgery and my pain was up tonight so I called him and he wasn't annoyed or hurried me off the phone. He was very through. So glad I went with him. His staff at the surgery ctr was great also.
