I celebrate Easter, and during the night of April 20, while I slept, a tick navigated inside my night shirt and took up residence inside my left armpit. I saw it in the bathroom mirror when I was dressing for Easter Sunday on the 21st. I got dressed, went out, had a great Easter Luncheon, and all the while this critter was chewing. On my way home, I drove right past Wilton Medical Arts, and was very surprised to see that the Urgent Care Unit was open, so I went in to get the tick removed. I know that treatment for tick borne disease is time sensitive. In the Unit, I met Dr. Timothy Brooks, who gets a 10 out of 10 for tick removal technique. I was also very impressed with the way he related to his staff. I think his time is worth every cent of my bill. I'm less impressed with my MVP coverage.

Dr. Brooks worked on a scalp injury I had sustained when I fell. He was very nice and comforting, and I didn't feel any pain from the stitches. He was also informative about the other issues I had that led to the fall.
