It's Grand Canyon time...
Dr Lovell replaced my hip in Sep 2020 and 4 months later replaced my knee. This passed month I have hiked down to Colorado river and back on bright angel trail in one day. Knee and hip are doing great! After that I hiked in Zion and currently 'training' in Bryce Canyon. Thank you Dr Lovell for my extension on my quality of life. He's a Godsend.

Dr Lovell does an amazing job!
Dr. Lovell replaced my right knee in 2017, and my left knee in 2022. As he will tell you, every knee is different & mine were no exception. In 5 years, knee replacement surgery has changed a lot - I was an outpatient surgery with minimal pain & great success in 2022. It is incredible to have two knees with ZERO pain. Thanks Dr. Lovell!

Super Knee Replacement
Dr. Lovell did a total knee arthroplasty on my left knee almost a year ago. Wonderful results. He will be doing my right knee next week. He takes time to answer all your questions and makes sure you are well taken care of from beginning to end. Super personality and great sense of humor as well top level expertise. I trust him to give me great surgical care.

Amazing surgeon and human being
I had a hip socket replacement in December of 2019 where the surgeon missed the bone with the screw and cost me immense and horrible pain. I have been looking for a surgeon and been turned down numerous times over the last 3 years and have been force to bed. I had a hip joint replaced 3 years ago and the doctor missed my phone with the screw. The screw proceeded to attach to my nerves and muscles going down my legs causing erase eating pain. Dr. Lovell literally saved my life by going in and cutting off that screw. He's not only a great surgeon but hes a compassionate one.

Dr Lovell did such an amazing job with my total knee replacement! I’ve had 6 orthopedic surgeries in the past 6 years due to having a metabolic bone disease and arthritis. His dedication and knowledge definitely comes through. He is an excellent surgeon and there is no one I trust more when it comes to my orthopedic care! Highly, highly recommend Dr Lovell!

Dr. Lovell was recommended to me by another very competent doctor that referred to him as "Mr. Hip", meaning he was the best in Spokane. I was told he was the doctor that people went to when other doctors surgeries went bad and had to be redone. My limping and pain finally "made" me contact Dr. Lovell's office. Every step of the way, from the initial ex-ray to the surgery was accomplished and communicated beyond my expectations. Dr. Lovell's bedside manor is second to none. He gave me all the time I needed to be comfortable with the steps needed for the surgery. He is a perfectionist with all that he does and will not compromise or negotiate his recommended steps for recovery. It is now five months since my surgery and am back to activities that I was not sure I would be able to do ever again prior to the surgery. Discounting the normal pain related to the recovery, which only lasted a couple of weeks, I can not point out a negative aspect of this experience.

Dr. Lovell did my hip replacement in 2011. My recovery was quick and I have never had a problem with it since. I have and will continue to recommend him highly to everyone I know. Jim Woodard in Colbert

My recovery from hip revision surgery was long and with problems. For one thing my operated leg ended up nearly 1.5 inches longer than my other leg. In addition, my knee on that side turned in, causing difficulty walking. I also know another person who had a slow recovery from revision. Dr. Lovell was attentive and well recommended, but I would not recommend him.

Over 8 yrs I suffered from a bad hip. I had heard about Dr Lovell from a friend of mine. It took me about 6 mo to see him. After seeing me and the x-ray of my hip he re-arranged his schedule and within 4 days I had a new hip. He is an outstanding surgeon and a remarkable person.

I was sent to Dr Lovell for a referral on a TKR I had in 2016. Dr Lovell was amazing. He took lots of time to examine my knee, took X-rays of knee hardware. He listened to my concernes. It was refreshing to have a surgeon willing to hear what you said.

DR Lovell was fabulous, compassionate and skilled. He has very high ethics and held me accountable as part of the team for a successful hip replacement. My recovery has been speedy adding so much more quality to my days, I no longer fear being up all night in pain. Thank you DR Lovell, Penny, Cathy and the entire team!

I would have loved to have met Dr. Lovell as he came highly recommended. Yet, the rudeness, lack of help I received on the phone when attempting to schedule an appointment with him had me look elsewhere for an orthopedic surgeon. The office staff should remember and realize they are the FIRST impression and their hurried/ careless behavior speaks of the service being provided.
