Dr K has one of the best bedside makers of any dr I've seen. I work for vanderbilt do I get to see both sides. Hands down, he is the best. He makes mee feel comfortable, by both providing good explanations of what he's doing and throwing in some humor to help ease my nerves.

My doctor and his nurse was great, I couldn't ask for a better doctor or nurse. My doctor came in before the procedure and sat down and talked with me, explain what he was going to do and how, told me what to expect and how it was going to feel. His nurse can in and told my husband that he was going to take good care of me and he did. He held my hand through the procedure. That was a very nice touch and it made me feel good and safe.

Office nor Doctor Do Not Respond to Emergencies
I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. Although I was in a good streak, I knew that the day would come when I would need more treatment for what is also known as 'the Suicide Disease'. My first appointment was rushed, and Dr. Kesayan's bedside manner was not impressive. I chocked it up to a bad day. The next visit was not great--but better. He offered to allow my primary care physician to take over my prescribed PRN meds, so I wouldn't need to travel four hours every six months and I could still see him when I had severe pain. I kept an appointment precisely for this reason. As an established patient, I was scheduled 6-9 months out. With three months left to wait, I relapsed into severe pain. I called the office and left voicemails and messages through My Health (four total) without an answer for three weeks. When the office finally responded, I was in worse pain and headed to my PCP for treatment. Dr. Kesayan refused to refer me, advise me, or to prescribe ANY meds without an in-person visit.

I have been a patient at Vanderbilt Pain Center with Dr. Kesayan for about two years. He is ABSOLUTELY the BEST. After going to a different center, my Physician recommended Dr. Kesayan and referred me to him. Best thing I ever did. He is just the best-listens, responds, thinks, and helps. My healing has been a result of the effort of Dr. Kesayan and I can't be happier with my improvement with back problems, the healing, and hope for the future! Thanks, Dr. K.

Excellent Provider
Of the dozens of neurologists I've seen in my life, Dr. Tigran Kesyan is by far the best. I was initially skeptical because of his age but absolutely elated by his results. He listened thoroughly to my 40+ year history with migraines, previous treatments, etc. His approach did not include an assumption of hypochondria, nor insisting on trying all the same options that have never really worked in the past. He was able to pinpoint an option that has actually alleviated my pain for the first time in 40 years. If you are fortunate enough to see this provider, give him a real shot. He might just change your life the way he changed mine.

Had a 7:30am procedure scheduled for which I was sternly asked and reminded to be sure to be on time. I was...then waited 2 hours for Dr. Kesayan to show up before leaving myself. I was the first patient of the day, so it's not like he was running behind due to other patients ahead of me; he just straight up showed up to work two hours late with no excuses. I would lose my job if I did that! The staff told me a few times during that last hour of waiting that they didn't know where he was, that he told them on his first day he needs to work on his tardiness, but that even still this happens almost daily. So my experience definitely was not the exception; it's the norm. He might be good at what he actually does, but he clearly thinks his time is more valuable than his patients'. If you're going to expect your patients to take time off work and/or move their schedules around to accommodate yours, have some common courtesy and be there on time too.

Does not listen and rushes you. Put on several meds with serious side effects in same class and failed ablation trial. Was no help and seemed to have no concern while in chronic pain awaiting a knee replacement that had been replaced numerous times. Would never recommend nor go back to him for anything. The worst experience of my life
