Doctor was extremely uninterested in diagnosing me during the appointment. It felt like i had to go in circles trying to diagnose myself to which the doctors would respond 'yes, sure, you might have that.' It's extremely frustrating that this is a standard of care for women who have Kaiser insurance. There needs to be more emphasis on evidence-based medicine and scientific decision making instead of the usual 'let me prescribe you some birth control.' We are in 2024, and there seems to be a lack of basic education that some issues are not easily resolved by taking birth control without exploring appropriate testing and diagnostic tools.
