Outstanding!
Dr. Shiver is the most caring, thorough and thoughtful doctor I've had in a long time. She gives you her undivided attention, listens to your concerns and goes above and beyond to care for you holistically. I was seeing Dr. Shiver for a specific condition, and yet, she showed more concern about my overall health than my primary caregiver. I trust her wholeheartedly.

Very fine, caring doctor
Dr. Shiver follows up to be sure patients are doing well. She care about her patients. Convenient location on Holcombe Blvd. just outside Medical Center. Easy free parking at the door, nice office and staff too. I am happy to be her patient!

Dr. Shiver is a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing her since 2012. I couldn’t entertain the possibility of seeing another Endocrinologist. She very knowledgeable in her field. She genuinely listens to your concern and addresses each of them accordingly. She is one in a million! Although, there can be difficulties in scheduling appointments she well worth the wait.

Dr Shiver is great and I’ve been seeing her for over 4 years. She really listens to me and answers my questions in a very clear way to help me with understands my medical conditions and offers several treatment options to help me determine what my best plan to be on for me. She’s a wonderful and a very caring person. My experience with her office staff is that they need to improve their skills in dealing with patients and with quicker responses to patients. Hope they’ll read these comments!

I saw Dr. Shiver in 2016 for a second opinion after being misdiagnosed by a different endocrinologist. Dr. Shiver was such a godsend! Although it is a little difficult to get an appointment (must have a referral, send over labs, & wait for approval) she is SO WORTH IT. I made the mistake of scheduling with an endocrinologist across the street who had availability right away & she almost ruined my thyroid. Dr. Shiver is so knowledgeable, kind, & made me feel so comfortable with her plan of care.

The doctor is 5-star great; wish I could say the same about her staff. The don't seem to care about the customers. They drop messages, fail to return calls, and go home early.

Dr Shiver is fantastic. She stays up-to-date with the latest medical technology and news and makes recommendations based on your personal situation and preference. She has completely revolutionized how I manage and control my diabetes and is incredibly thorough. I've had mixed experience with doctors in the past and was hesitant to try another doc, but I definitely got lucky when I signed up for care under her supervision. I have been a patient of hers for approximately 5 years
