Anyone can buy a practice
Dr. Duke Sui used to work at a psych ward. As the saying goes, when you're a hammer, everything is a nail. I believe his experiences have colored his worldview in such a way that any symptom someone has can be attributed to some underlying mental pathology. I found him to be very arrogant. I also believe it is unprofessional to have a spouse working in the office. The lack of separation between work and home life brings up ethical concerns regarding patient confidentiality.

Wonderful psychiatrist
Dr Duke-Sui has been seeing my two sons for almost a year now. One of them is particular very challenging and Doctor Duke - Sui has been very diligent, and we're seeing progress.

Outstanding Dr
I have worked with child psychologists for over 20 years. Dr. Sui is one of the best doctors I have encountered. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. My son and I are both patients. I am thankful for his care.

I was a patient at the UNC childrens adolescent psych ward. Duke Sui was very rude and dismissive, and told me “nobody in this room thinks you have (disorder)”. Keep in mind, I was diagnosed with a form of it and gave him a clear explanation as to why I believed I had it and the symptoms I experienced. I understand some people fake disorders, but duke sui was incredibly confrontational and rude.
