Dr. Thucanh Multerer, MD

From the moment Dr. Multerer entered the examination room she appeared to be in a very bad mood. Things didn't improve as the exam itself progressed. Dr. Multerer began with questioning the validity of the referral from the doctor who had concluded I should see a retinal specialist—as though a patient makes that sort of decision. When I attempted to explain I had seen a VA optical technician at the VA Clinic in Great Falls, Dr. Multerer became verbally combative before I could finish my sentence and said 'You have to see a doctor before you can see me. So you must have seen a doctor.' I tried to continue my explanation, but my attempt was never successful as she continued to interrupt me with complete condescension. She should stop finishing patients' sentences and listen. I will be going to Missoula for eye care until the Great Falls Clinic can find a PROFESSIONAL retinal specialist. She is the most unprofessional healthcare provider I've had the misfortune of meeting.

Dr. Tells it like it is & does her job quick & efficient!

I was very apprehensive abut having the intravitreal injection, but was soon relaxed as much as much as possible. Dr. Multerer and her staff are very good at explaining the procedure and answering questions.

Dr Multerer always talks to me about my procedure and takes time to explain things. I think she has a great personality and is a very good doctor.

Very professional, personable and direct

Wait time after I was directed to the exam room was excessively long, approximately one hour, no excuses given. Exam was brief and very little time was spent on exam explanation.

The staff made me feel real comfortable and Dr. Multerer was very pleasant.

Doctor came in the examine room spoke quickly it was fast and a lot of information to take in. I felt rushed. I felt like the doctor had no compassion for me as a patient. I pray she knows her medicine. I did not feel valued just hurry up and get to her next patient

My regular specialist is Dr. Benevento. I am always seen in the Bettendorf IA office. My doctor identified a "change" and requested a second look and opinion by Dr. Multerer. I'm not certain you can even recommend her as she has an expertise for specialties in this area. I would highly recommend Dr. Benevento. Experienced, Intelligent, thorough, shares info, explains his findings and will answer all questions. Good personality for this work.

Took a little longer this time that I expected but, everything went well. Dr. Multerer is, if anything, efficient. I would say her "bedside manner" is not like other medical professionals that I've known, but she is highly focused on her task, and that's a good thing.

Dr Multerer was amazing, she was professional, courteous, and clearly cared about me as her patient. She was super informative about the issues I was having, possible treatments and outcomes, answering my many questions clearly and in a way I could understand. She knew there were 2 problems with my eye but also a possible 3rd, and she was right. She killed 3 birds with one stone in surgery addressing all 3 issues and prevented me from potentially having emergency surgery in the future!! I'm only one week post op and couldn't be happier with the results. I can't thank her enough!

I have never had Dr Multerer before and I was never told that Dr Eckhart would not be seeing me and I was not impressed with her. Seem to only communicate with the tech . Totally different than Dr Eckhart or any of the other Drs I have seen at Eye Surgons. I do not want to be scheduled with her again.

This was a recheck on my floaters in my eye. Very prompt and the Dr. Was professional and caring as always.

She is rude and arrogant. Insisted in doing exactly what my mom asked her not to do! She thinks she knows your eyes and your reaction to medicine better than you do. Do Not Go To Her
