Dr. Thor Tejada, MD

I was skeptical when he told me I needed another ablation , just like what every other cardiologist said . But he told me he was gonna look what was done prior and he was gonna fix this, he promised me he could fix it and he did. I'm amazed I'm here because he found something so simple that nobody else found. I had 2 ablations and 24 Cardioversions I can't tell you how many echograms sonograms and EKGs had and nobody could make my heart stop beating fast and fluttering it was tired it never stopped beating 150 or more I didn't wanna pacemaker I fought it . I told him about it and he said I will fix it! I couldn't be more happier to hear my heart beating I keep taking my heartbeat I love seeing my results because it's like everybody else's beats!! I love this doctor He's outstanding.

I am an old school MD. He listens well, actually examines you not just looks at the digital data, answers all questions, outlines treatment plans well, and you leave the appointment satisfied that you are in good hands.

Dr. Tejada was my Mom's cardiologist while she was a patient at Methodist Stone Oak undergoing treatment for Stage IV lung cancer. My Mom developed a host of other issues (such as atrial fibrillation) as the cancer spread but Dr. Tejada always checked on her and was so thorough in his treatment plans. He is extremely knowledgeable and carefully discusses the risks and benefits of each option, putting her at ease and giving her the utmost confidence in his care. While my Mom unfortunately lost her battle with cancer, I am forever grateful to Dr. Tejada for the compassion he showed my Mom and my family.

This is a true compassionate Doc. He cares and takes time to tell you what’s going on and options. I used to pick older Docs, but found out these youngsters are not locked to a treatment but have knowledge of many. He saved my life. Love this guy.

Dr. Tejada was great! He really listened to what I had to say and didn't conclude right away my underlying diagnosis. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable in the plan moving forward regarding my overall heart health.

Very timely and attentive. I was a few minutes late but the staff was understanding and I was seen right away. The staff worked efficiently and Dr. Tejada was clear in helping me with my questions and concerns. This is the way an office visit should be.

Dr Tejada is a fantastic physician. He is a specialist in issues with "electrical" issues with the heart, such as heart rhythm issues or pacemaker placement. He is a very caring man and takes time to talk with patients in language that is understandable. Very personable and approachable. Highest praise for him!

Dr. Tejada and his nursing staff were very kind and informative. I did not have to wait very long and Dr. Tejada did not seem rushed when speaking to me. He made sure all my questions were answered and provided concise answers.

Dr. Tejada has been treating my A-fib since it was diagnosed two years ago. My heart was not very cooperative because after 5 medication changes, a cardioconversion and an ablation I still had persistent A-fib. He did not give up in his quest for a successful treatment. After a second ablation I am in normal rhythm, off all medication and feel better than I have in years. I trust him completely with my cardiac concerns. The office staff has always been friendly.

I was very pleased with my first visit. Dr Tejacda was pleasant and explained all of the treatment options available to me, and what each step we should take in my treatments. He also provided me with a way to get in touch with him if I needed to reach him over the weekend.
