I've been seeing Dr. Weyburn since 2013 after a kidney cancer diagnosis. I was treated in WI but shortly after a partial nephrectomy I moved to IL and was referred to Dr. Weyburn. He's compassionate, understanding and caring. He always calls with results or returns calls if you called with a question. Other doctors I've had dismissed me after the surgery stating I would need no more follow-up. Dr. Weyburn was stunned when he heard that and actually saw me every 6 months for the 1st 5 years, then yearly after. He still orders scans yearly and closely watches other areas I will most likely develop cancer in due to a positive genetic mutation. He's a great doctor and I would recommend him to everyone who needed a cancer specialist.

Dr Weyburn cared for both of my parents after their cancer diagnosis. Dr Weyburn's approach with patients sets him apart from so many other physicians. His compassion and concern was evident at every step of the journey we had embarked upon. He is backed by one of the most amazing care teams I've ever encountered from his NP, Jill to his amazing nurses and front staff - they each truly care about their patients and it shows.

Dr. WIeyburn is very compassionate, personable, and really takes time to address patient concerns, answer questions and explain what's going on. Getting a cancer diagnosis is very challenging so having a doctor like Dr. Weyburn is very reassuring when there is so much uncertainty.

Dr Weyburn cared for my husband after his diagnosis for terminal cancer. He initially treated my husband in the hospital then in the office. He is an intelligent and skilled oncologist. He was honest which we appreciated while being compassionate and kind. He took the time to explain everything to us and answered all our questions. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Weyburn is part of the team that saved my life. From the beginning of my cancer diagnosis he took the time to explain my chemo treatment plan in detail and make sure I knew what to expect. The compassion and care he showed me is beyond compare. As a healthcare professional, I am often asked to recommend physicians. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend Dr Weyburn and his team.

Dr. Weyburn is the best doctor. I couldn’t have made it through my journey with stage 3 breast cancer without him. He always spends extra time with me to discuss options, concerns, etc. He always makes it a habit to see ask how things are going and make sure I’m not getting overwhelmed or anxious. I feel truly lucky to have him as my oncologist and I highly recommend him.

When patients are given a cancer diagnosis it is scary. Waiting for results from tests and biopsies are awful. De Weyburn doesn't care about making patients wait for results he promises to call and doesn't call back. Twice he has done Tia to us. For this reason I would not recommend. The oath to cause no harm can be inflicts I. Many ways. Not calling Stoney's back when promised causes anxiety to both patient and family.
