Professional and caring
Dr. Wannenberg took the time to discuss and explain the ablasion procedure. He is very personable and professional and did not rush the appointment at all. His demeamer is impeccable and his mediacal training and credentials are outstanding. We are luck to have him here in eastern Tennessee.

My husband, an afib patient, was sent away rudely
Rude manner. Lack of listening to the patient who was transfered after his former doc, Dr. Dill retired. Unprofessional. He did not go over tests that were ordered. My husband had actually fainted and cracked his back from an afib episode. Unreal.

Cryoablation
Dr Wannenburg was very professional and competent. I wasn't sure what to think when I first met him based on other reviews. Anything other than 5 stars is undeserving. The doctor first established my background, so as to determine how best to communicate. He then explained why I'm having this problem, what he will do to fix it, and the possible and expected aftereffects. I appreciate what he told me.He met with me on the day of the surgery with positivity and confidence. Greatly appreciated and calming.I absolutely recommend this doctor.

Unprofessional
I was referred to this doctor from another Dr. within the same practice. When he discussed ablation, the timing was not good. I was unable to schedule it at that point. In the meantime, I wore a heart monitor for 1 month. Spent a lot of money (deductible and copay). Next 3 appointments with him were cancelled the day before. I have never had a physician continually cancel appointments. Why would I want to put my care in this man’s hands??? If I can’t even get into see him? I have since changed to a different cardiologist. Still have not received the results of the tests that I have paid for that were ordered by Dr. Wannenburg’s office. It has been requested several times for my records to be sent to the new doctor.

This doctor is the most arrogant disrespectul, condescending man I've ever met. He actually had my parents in tears as he asked them why they were there. No person that is sick or otherwise deserves to be treated this way. I would not recommend him to anyone. If I could give negative stars I would.

He "may' be technically competent, but his arrogance, condescending attitude and complete lack of compassion is shocking. Have never encountered a physician this bad.

Moved from NC, had a decent ep there. I had been referred from another cardiologist. I felt rushed, he didn’t listen to what my concerns were, and he pretty much told me I didn’t have to take my meds if I didn’t want to. I have VTac and throw pvcs. If I don’t take meds then I have chest pain, difficulty breathing and dizziness. My mother in law came with me and she didn’t like him either. He’s a joke. I didn’t have a problem scheduling my appointment. Looks like money talks.

In six decades of contacts with physicians I have never been treated with so much indifference. This man seems to lack common courtesy and care for patients. I will never have dealings with him again. Never.
