Dr. Thomas Tingle, MD

Dr. Tingle was very clear about the diagnosis, best treatment, how to prepare, how to follow up, what the risks were - I felt very well informed at all steps. His staff were also quite wonderful. Procedure itself went flawlessly, I recovered quickly with minimal pain and no complications. Problem solved, I do recommend this surgeon, he knows his stuff!

The staff is so friendly. Dr. Tingle is the best, he always checks in to see how I am doing not only about my injury and recovery but my emotionally as well.

Dr. Tingle and his staff are awesome. I went from not being able to walk to doing a triathlon in under 6 months post surgery. He really is a master of his craft!

Dr. Tingle has been fantastic since the second I met him. I've had knee pain for years and been to many doctors that told me 'nothing was wrong' or that I'm 'too young' to have issues. Dr. Tingle took me seriously from the start and did find very real problems in my knees. It was really nice to have a doctor listen to me and try all other approaches before recommending surgery, even though that was what I ultimately needed. His bedside manner is wonderful and he communicates SO clearly about what will happen and when and why. The appointment never feels rushed or like he isn't COMPLETELY listening to everything you say. Dr Tingle is a very special Dr and surgeon. I had shoulder surgery roughly 6 months ago and while painful his philosphy of getting you to PT quickly helped me tremendously. I was in a sling roughly a month and he has me see him once a month to check on my progress. During my visits he takes his time with you and asks all the right questions. I am so appreciative of what he did and I should be swinging my tennis raquest in no time. His front office and nurses are friendly and caring. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Dr. Tingle is an incredible doctor. I tore my ACL and needed to have surgery. From the first appointment for diagnosis, to necessary surgery, to my follow up appointments, I was listened to, spoke to kindly and with respect and educated about my condition. You can tell he truly cares about what he does and his patients. He surrounds himself with nurses, assistants and front staff who share in his beliefs and their treatment was also so kind, helpful and welcoming. I would recommend Dr. Tingle always. You will get great care from him and his team.

Dr Tingle listens, has always been honest and straightforward with me about possible outcomes. My experiences under his care have been very good, making it possible for me to be mobile and relatively pain free. I recommend him to family and friends whenever they have knee issues. Dr. Tingle is an exceptional orthopedic specialist who is kind, patient, and empathetic. During appointments, he takes his time to explain the causes of your pain and what's happening in your body. I have had two successful surgeries with him; he always makes me feel understood. His nurse is equally kind and friendly, while Genie, his assistant, is a top-notch professional. She returns calls promptly and ensures that you understand the entire process.The front desk staff is welcoming and always inquires about your well-being.

Dr Tingle is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He does not make you feel like you’re just a number but a patient who has pain and he wants to alleviate it. I never felt rushed at any of my appointments, or was made to feel like he has other patients to see; like so many other doctors do today. He explains what will take place with surgery and what you can expect after. No flipping arrogance with him either. He is a born doctor, not a made doctor, which is refreshing now a days. His staff is very friendly as well. A great experience, all things considered. I would not and do not hesitate to recommend him. I already have!

Dr Tingle has compassion and listens to you. I never feel rushed, and he does not push any procedures on you. The facilities are state of the art. He did my knee surgery and gives me yearly Supartz knee joint injections. I'm able to do things pain free as a 63-year-old Veteran. His office manager Genie just takes care of everything from insurance to RX refills. Just Top-Notch Care all around.

Dr Tingle repaired a torn miniscus and some other minor damage he noticed while in the OR. I have been extremely happy with this physician, his nurse, his secretary, and the practice administrators.

Reattached my left Bicep muscle. Dr. Tingle was great! My arm looks better now than before! Stronger too! He used 500# test line to attach the muscle to the bone. Not bad for a DePauw University graduate.

Dr. Tingle operated on my ankle 11 years ago after an injury that broke my ankle joint and tibia. I was very happy with him at the time. He was friendly, very informative and highly skilled. He got me back on my feet again. Recently I needed an exam on that ankle because of soreness from age and several people have commented on what a great job my surgeon did back then! Thanks again, Dr. Tingle! I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Tingle is an amazing surgeon. He takes his time to explain everything. My husband two surgeries,my son and I all have used him for knee meniscus. We feel he is the best around!

dr. tingle has the best attitude and bedside manner I have ever seen. I went in for knee pain and he explained all of my options, in clear terms that you could understand.. he took time with me and did not make me feel like just another knee. he made eye contact and talked. my wife had knee replacement done in 10/16 and her dr., at the times I was with her, barely stayed in the room to explain anything. she was definitely just a number. dr. tingle made smalls cuts so my scarring is minimal.
