Dr. Thomas Sultenfuss, MD

Kept my annual appointment only to find out when I got there that Dr. Sultenfuss has retired. Broken hearted. My only choice was to see a PA. She at my insistence did a chin biopsy, that she felt was nothing. Got a call days later that I had squamous cell lesion. Was sent to their affiliate factory in Boot Ranch area for what turned out to be 7 hrs of Mohs surgery. Lesion involved my entire chin. Dr. Kim had 5 mohs surgeries going at same time that rotated in and out of surgery. What if I had NOT insisted on biopsy !!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND EITHER OFFICE.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Sultenfuss for over 12 years. We have always found Dr. Sultenfuss to be kind and caring. We have always trusted and respected his opinion.

When my wife and I moved to Florida seven years ago we were concerned about receiving the same high level of care I received in Tennessee. Dr. Sultenfuss exceeded our expectations. He is very thorough and explains conditions and procedures in a way that makes it easy to understand. He is gentle and administers treatments in a respectful manner. He always has time for questions. He never rushes to make the next appointment. The treatments he provides to me are successful and proceed in ways he describes. I am very grateful to Dr. Sultenfuss for the personal care he gives me. I recommend him to all who need a dermatologist.

This doctor is the most thorough dermatologist. He is very good and concerned about patients. I’ve been going to him for over 20 years.

Dr. Sultenfuss is kind .. patient...and caring. He listens and is highly qualified. He also asks questions regarding the problem one is having to get the whole picture of the problem. I would have no reservation in recommending him to any one.

My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Sultenfuss. His staff are courteous and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Dr. Sultenfuss, is kind, thorough, patient, and genuinely concerned about helping his patients. In fact, there's a sign in his waiting room which asks patients to please be understanding if he runs behind; he wants to give each patient the attention they deserve. That's quite a statement in times when medical practices are being bought up by for-profit companies who only have the bottom line as their goal. And you can tell those practices because you feel like you're in a factory. If you need a dermatologist who knows what he's doing, Dr. Sultenfuss is the one.

I saw the doctor for a scalp foliculitus problem which after lab work was not able to find the source. I would rate him as average. His staff I would rate as lousy. They are the worst I have ever experienced.

From the moment I walked in the door I was treated respectfully and with kindness by their 2 office staff and RN Rachel. Dr. Sultenfuss was very professional, performed a thorough skin check (unlike many other local dermatologists), found a possible basal cell and before I knew it, he had it removed with no pain whatsoever!
