Great Doctor!!!
For the last year and a half I have been from doctor to doctor to try and find out what is going on with my digestive system. I was about to give up when I decided to try Dr. Sloan, and I am so glad I did. On the very first visit Dr. Sloan zeroed in on a few possibilities and after some tests, voila, he found a treatable problem. I am so grateful and I finally feel like I can see light at the end of a long dark tunnel Thank you Dr. Sloan!

Dr Sloan and his staff have been incredibly helpful in screening the gatekeeping of other providers by openly offering exceptional diagnostic procedures and medical coding easily understood by outside providers. Everyone I worked with has been a professional about screening for a non-gastro disease despite the need and their diagnostics have been vital in my arthritis treatment, other providers red flagged me as a GI patient, despite their current lack knowledge of how helpful these test have been for my global care. Dr. Sloan's office has been exceptionally professional in my rheumatology screening despite the fruitless results and frustration of the staff that obviously wants to help patients directly with immediate relief with GI diseases. Dr Sloan's wisdom has reaffirmed several long held perceptions of my GI health's needs and the required tools needed for improvement and understanding a disease that effects my GI tract indirectly yet insidiously.

Dr Sloane is amazing! He saved my life in 2003 with discovery of a huge polyp and got me connect with a surgeon, who did a great job! I recently was suffering from acid reflux and he realized how serious it was. He decided to do an endoscopy that resulted in 3 biopsies'. I could harldy swallow and would choke. He gave me medicine that worked within 2 days to make me feel normal again, after years of struggling. My pathology report just came back with good news that I do not have cancer or precancerous cells. Other doctors would have put me off, as they had been and it is highly likely it would have resulted in cancer with my Barret's esophagus . No cancer bit je wo;; continue to monitor me as I heal! Dr Sloane is a smart kind doctor. He has been practicing medicine for decades, so I feel very safe under his care. Other doctors trivialized my condition and did not increase or change my meds as the issue got worse.

Excellent appointments - both he and his assistant, Misti, take the time to explain what is happening and their knowledge and skills are outstanding. We have had a difficult 3 months, but have a treatment plan and look forward to becoming heathy quickly.

I like Dr Sloane but recently I visited his office..checking with my insurance to make sure services were covered and what I would be responsible for. No billing surprises. Now 6 plus months later, I get a $250 bill from a lab somewhere in the east. I learned after the fact that a test was sent outside this practice to a provider that is not in network AND I had no prior knowledge of this so I could check on it. The clinic supervisor said it was my responsibility to check.

Dr. Sloane was my GI doc for 18 years. I always had great care from him. He is kind, complete and has a wonderful bedside manner. I know have insurance that restricts me from continuing to see him. If I could see him, I would. He was always so good to me. I would recommend him to everyone!!
