Getting good results and great care
Very knowledgeable, attentive, and detail-oriented. I have been with Dr. Showalter now for close to two years. My health has improved and I feel better with the prescribed treatments and regular exams. I recommend him and the staff at the Integris Cancer Center highly.

I received a chemotherapy infusion under the care of Dr Showalter through the direction of my oncologist at UTSW in Dallas. I thought receiving care locally would save me the long travel to Dallas. During the infusion I noticed that the RN wasn’t following procedure as it was typically done in Dallas at UTSW. She checked the Dr Showalter and he had not followed the formulation recommended by my Dallas oncologist. His notes indicated that he followed it as “close as he could”. I would never go back to his care again. His attitude was very casual like he was doing me a huge favor. The staff was not attentive. I would not return to him nor would I recommend him.

I was treated By Dr. Showalter for throat cancer and have been in remission for the past 4 years. Throughout my treatment and follow-up, I have been extremely impressed with his knowledge, compassion, and professionalism. I am proud to say I highly regard his friendship. I would therefore highly recommend him to anyone needing cancer treatment.

Dr Showalter is very knowledgeable and very accessible. He and his staff are helpful, and do what they can to make our life and health situation as good as it can be. Dr. Showalter takes as much time as we need, and answers all our questions.
